Wellsprings Residence

The staff at wellsprings are very sweet people and caring to the folks that live there. Whenever I visit, the air smells clean and the atmosphere is cozy. When the time comes I'd like for my parents to live here throughout their golden years, I know they'll be happy.

We went to tour Wellsprings Residence. The person who assisted us was very nice. She showed us around. The room was nice; the whole place was very nice. It had a more homely feel. It was very comfortable and warm there. They're out in the woods, so it's a park-like setting. The only thing why we didn't consider it more was because of the sliding scale. If my mother-in-law's care gets more, then her cost goes up to $7000 a month. So that was the reason why we didn't choose it. Other than that, we were very impressed. It was neat and clean. The carpets were a bit stained, so they need to have a carpet cleaner come in and clean the carpet. But the people looked well taken care of, and it was a very homey, warm place. They would go on field trips, they had a puzzle room, and they had a backyard, and you could take them out into the yard. They have a doctor that would do an in-house visit. The dining area was very nice. The staff was very friendly, too.

My brother has moved into Wellsprings Residence. They are very kind people. It's clean. They feed him and they take very good care of him. He loved it. He loved what he had. It's a very clean place. It's safe. He said he likes the food; he doesn't have any complaints about it. I see somebody come in and play the piano and they sing spiritual songs. They have a game room where they put puzzles together. I see they got a lot of books. He's been taken care of very well. His room is very clean and very well kept. It is nice. It has a walk-in bathroom. That's why we went there, that's what he needed, his own clean room.

My mother-in-law has been in Wellsprings Residence for two months now. I like the community because it's all-inclusive. The people who need memory care, if they're not in a bad state, they allow the community to be together, which has helped my mother-in-law. She is not in total memory care because she is not that far along yet, and so with the other people, she can have friends. They sing together, they do scripture together, and they watch TV together. It's wonderful; it's a good community. The room is very comfortable. You can take anything that she likes. There is a nice place for clothes. Everything is nice. The food is just wonderful, it's set up like a restaurant, and it's good. They have a variety of rooms. Everything is there. They have a library, a game room, and gazebos. My mother-in-law likes the meals, and her son likes the meals. I've only been there for two activities, and I loved it because my mother-in-law loved it. They're consistent every day with the schedule. The staff makes sure that everybody follows the schedule and that they're happy. All the residents that I've seen are very happy; I know my mother-in-law is happy.

My dear aunt was a resident of Wellsprings until her last days and my family labored and fought over where to place her as it was getting so difficult for her to care for herself. She stayed at Wellsprings for over two years and it was the best decision we made when it came to her care. They treat their residents like family and are very attentive to them. The owners and staff kept my family informed of everything related to my aunt and helped us navigate some of the complex issues you face when managing the care of an older relative. The campus is absolutely beautiful and gives you every feel of the home. All of my family members said they would chose Wellsprings over the other ALFs in the area. Thanks you so much Susan, Reggie, Amanda, and all of the staff for everything you do for our aging community! You are a true blessing!
