Residents are treated with care and respect by all staff members from leadership to nursing to patient care technicians to dietary to housekeeping. The atmosphere is upbeat and the facility is clean and tidy. I can't say enough about the quality of are delivered at this facility. So glad to have this type of elder care in our community. Bravo!
I have been in Water’s Edge for a broken leg. Having arrived after major surgery at a trauma center, I was not expecting such superb care here. The staff is caring and respond to requests promptly. I’m unable to put weight on one leg, needing assistance in transferring. Help is immediate. Food is good with requests honored. This is a great facility!
I am a resident of Sandhill Cove who recently had the positive experience of spending one week at Waters Edge receiving medical care as I recovered from major surgery. From the minute I entered Waters Edge I was greeted by a well trained medical staff, a caring administration and qualified assistants who immediately began taking good care of me. All of the Waterside employees work hard, very hard, everyday, to insure all medical needs are met for each patient. I am a resident of Sandhill Cove who recently had the positive experience of spending one week at Waters Edge receiving medical care as I recovered from major surgery. From the minute I entered Waters Edge I was greeted by a well trained medical staff, a caring administration and qualified assistants who immediately began taking good care of me. All of the Waterside employees work hard, very hard, everyday, to insure all medical needs are met for each patient. As a member of the SHC Marketing Committee, I speak often with prospective SHC people about the advantages of our independent living programs. My Mom is at Waters Edge a little over one year now. We are so blessed to have her at this facility. We researched many facilities leading up to her placement and Waters Edge is superior by far. From the Administration Staff to the Nursing, Housekeeping, and Food Staff this facility is a shining star. My sincere thanks to ALL of you for providing such sincere, professional, compassionate and thorough care of our loved ones. God Bless you ALL.
My sister has been at Water's Edge for almost 2 years now and loves it. I was hesitant to put her in a facility, though needed, but now regret not doing so sooner. She gets excellent care and so much more than I could ever provide for her at home. The staff is caring and attentive and she loves the non-stop activities that are designed for the residents cognitive and physical needs. She considers everyone there her family and they treat her as such. The facility is clean, well managed and the food is great. It's a big THANK YOU from me. I have peace of mind and she is loved and looked after.
My husband was admitted to Water’s Edge Nursing and Rehab facility after a six day hospital stay. The interdisciplinary care planning meeting early in his stay was very helpful in tayloring his plan of care to meet his personal needs. My input was welcomed. The wound care nurse became involved immediately to address skin issues present on admission. Physical and occupational therapists motivated him to achieve a level of independence necessary to return home. Our experience was a positive one.
My wife of 66 years has been a resident of Sandhiill Cove for 14 years, the last 3 of which have been in Assistance in Living in our wonderful Wellness facility, Waters Edge. The care she gets there 24/7 is excellent! It allows me to live a normal life while being able to visit and support her\\ end it!her daily. \\\\\ I highly recommend it!
Walter was admitted to Waters Edge after 5 days at CCNorth and having a pacemaker put in He was very unstable and having dizzy spells so I was not comfortable bringing him home so had him taken to Waters Edge and our experience was very good He had attentive aides and nurses He was very happy and content there and I was happy living in Sandhill Cove connected to the health facility and could walk over and visit at anytime during the day and when he got stronger enough he could come home to visit for a few hours Nancy Schroth
