Place is poorly run have had two directors in 1.5 years, countless staff changes , staff sit around playing with their phones and never have answers to families questions , do not take your loved one there they will go from…

They put clients to bed at 6:00 to avoid having to attend too them. They use medication to quiet or control clients . Place is poorly run have had two directors in 1.5 years, countless staff changes , staff sit around playing with their phones and never have answers to families questions , do not take your loved one there they will go from independent to dependant very quickly run don’t walk away and find another place!’
I wanted to share what a wonderful experience. My family had at Vista Lake. Tish, the Director of nursing and her care team performed exceptional care. Greg, the administrator was always very attentive to our needs and miss Denise was always available. Every time I called or texted her. I would highly recommend considering Vista Lake for your loved ones. You will not be disappointed.
Tish and the clinical staff are excellent at communicating with families. Penny is top notch with activities and the fun stuff. thanks for keeping our residents and families happy!

I just saw Christina’s review, and I agree. I went there to visit my mom on a surprise visit. I used her bathroom and saw used adult diapers piled high in the garbage can, and I couldn’t breathe because the urine smell was so bad!!! Also, I bought her beautiful adult coloring books and a huge box of colored pencils for her to relax to. The next day they were gone. I talked to someone there, and she said, “Oh, another patient probably took them.” REALLY!?!?!? This also happened with boxes of candy. IF this was the case, this shows a total lack of supervision!!! No one’s privacy should EVER be invaded ESPECIALLY when you are paying and trusting others to take care of your loved ones!!!!
My mom spent 10mths in the memory care unit… My brother had right of attorney, otherwise, I would have taken her out ASAP! Unfortunately, she died under their care… The room always smelled like urine; My mom said she was abused(she suffered from dementia, so take that into consideration); Gifts she received, were always missing…even the next day, & the staff blamed it on the other patients; Very depressing atmosphere! I had no choice, & couldn’t move her… Please don’t put your love one(s) in this place! If I could help even just one person, this review is worth it! 🙏 Betty (Aug 2022’ - May 2023’)
I have been here for a couple years now. This is the best place I have lived in. I would never go back to where I was. I can do all the activities, the food is great and tasty. The lady that takes your monthly rent is a sweetheart, the manager of the building is kind and caring. The maintenance person always puts a smile on my face no matter what type of day I am having. I am very grateful for these people.
This place is out of this world. I couldn't imagine another place for my sister. We have been participating in activities until she moves in as we are in the process of moving her from another state. The staff has been so helpful and helping us through this tough process.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Beautiful place in a nice location. The staff is great. The directors are always so helpful and caring. The maintenance director will do everything he can to make sure that the apartments are maintained and up to par.
