The staff there helped to care for her at the end of her life like she was their mom. They were so caring and supportive of her as well as me. They took on the duties of assisting the hospice care team but to be honest they cared for her better than the hospice team did. My mother was very resistant to going to assisted living but once she was there she loved all the staff and the facility! I did not think her time there would be so short but it helped make the last six months of her life…

I am adding a second part to my original review. My mother passed 12/19/25 at the Villas of Hollybrook. The staff there helped to care for her at the end of her life like she was their mom. They were so caring and supportive of her as well as me. They took on the duties of assisting the hospice care team but to be honest they cared for her better than the hospice team did. My mother was very resistant to going to assisted living but once she was there she loved all the staff and the facility! I did not think her time there would be so short but it helped make the last six months of her life safe, happy and fulfilled! Don't waste your time looking at the Sheridan, The Windsor etc. These people truly care!!! The Villas Of Holly brook Sarasota is AMAZING!!!! Most importantly the care givers are THE BEST!! The care givers are the heartbeat of this facility. They truly care about my mom and her well being and happiness. My mom can be a bit grumpy and difficult at times but every care giver treats my mom like their own family member and I believe truly cares about her as a person. They are amazing with her!! The facility is immaculate! The food is delicious! The nurse and doctor here are spot on with their assessments and care. It is a very difficult decision to find the right place for a family member when they need help. I always feel like my mom is safe, well cared for and I never worry about her anymore with the wonderful staff at this facility. This is the place for your family member that needs this type of care and assistance. I have seen every facility in the area. Don't waste anymore time.... this is the place you are looking for!!!
I recently put my father to live at Hollybrook. It was a difficult decision for everyone. My father has dementia and some other problems. He wanted to live in his own home by himself with a nurse, but we thought that Hollybrook would bring out the best in him and it wouldn’t make his life live longer, but he would have the quality of life that he deserves everything about Holbrook was wonderful experience from the beginning we met Morgan to meeting Rick who helped hang the pictures. I recently put my father to live at Hollybrook. It was a difficult decision for everyone. My father has dementia and some other problems. He wanted to live in his own home by himself with a nurse, but we thought that Hollybrook would bring out the best in him and it wouldn’t make his life live longer, but he would have the quality of life that he deserves everything about Holbrook was wonderful experience from the beginning we met Morgan to meeting Rick who helped hang the pictures. My father lives in a one bedroom apartment, which is quite nice and definitely large enough for him. His little patio looks out upon the putt putt greens. I have found at Holbrook. You can Get yourself involved and a lot or you can do nothing. Also, the food is delicious and the person that cooks the food cares about the residence and what they like to eat. I sat with some of the residents and they were so sweet and kind to my father. They become their own little family. The most unexpected thing is I look forward to visiting him at Holly Brook, as well as the people that run it and the other residence. when we were looking people thought wow it’s a new place. Sure, there’s some things that they have to work out since it’s new I felt totally opposite. They were on board with every little detail when my father walked into the room and saw how I decorated to make it look just like his home the smile that he gave me I knew I made the right decision.

From the very first day, the staff made her feel welcome, cared for, and truly at home. The entire staff is wonderful! It brings me so much comfort knowing she’s surrounded by people who genuinely care about her well-being and happiness. The facility is always warm and inviting. I’m deeply grateful to the entire Holly Brook team for the love and attention they give my mom every single day. They’ve made such a difference in my mom’s life — and in mine. Highly recommend!

Holly Brook is a very special place - from each caring staff member, the new and beautiful facilities and amenities, the dining and food service, the doctors, hair salon, and lending Library. A special shout out to the Activity Director as residents enjoy socializing and participating in a lively array of fun activities on a daily basis. To a person, the Staff is enthusiastic and engaged, always interested in the needs of your loved one and how they can best serve those needs. Look no further than Holly Brook. Extremely satisfied. Highly recommend.
I knew from the moment I walked in, this was exactly where my parents are meant to be. Beautiful, clean, quiet and FULL of smiling staff. Suzette and Darlando both went above and beyond for me and it did not go unnoticed! I am so excited for my parents to experience the love felt within the walls of this home everyday!
