Toby Weinman Residence

We just moved my 94 year old father into Toby Weinman Residences. The experience so far has been excellent. The Residence Director and staff have been very helpful and supportive and the facility is very nice.

It’s hard for me to think back on my brother’s move to Toby Weinmann without tearing up. From the very beginning, the staff went miles beyond the call of duty to make sure the transition was a smooth one. Every single person we encountered was unbelievably kind, helpful, and welcoming. One moment that really stayed with me: while we were setting up his room, a member of the housekeeping staff — who was eight months pregnant — came in and said, “Let me make his bed so it looks nice for him.” And it truly did. That simple act of care impressed me no end. My brother has been a resident for about a month now, and he’s absolutely thrilled to be part of the community. He loves the food, thinks his room is perfect, and finds great comfort in being surrounded by caring people 24/7. He also really appreciates how convenient everything is. I stayed with him for a few days a couple of weeks ago, and it’s easy to see why he’s so happy. There’s a genuine family-like atmosphere at Toby Weinmann — nothing about it feels institutional. While the staff are incredibly attentive, what stands out most is the deep respect they show every resident, regardless of cognitive status. I’m profoundly grateful that my brother is in such a safe, compassionate, and dignified environment.

We recently moved my mother in law to Toby Weinman. The team, led by Adam, has been wonderful. They are all welcoming, professional and very kind. Adam is patient, knowledgeable, available or quick to respond, compassionate and kind, as well. In the evening, Nancy is the "go-to" person, and is also very engaged, available, knowledgeable and caring. The facility is clean and well run. All of the members of the team, are happy, approachable and seem to genuinely like their job, and working with the residence. Toby Weinman has made this transition an easy one. Excited for mom to be a part of the Toby Weinman family.

Moving a loved one from home into assisted living is a tough decision. We toured a dozen different places in Pinellas County and Toby Weinman Residence was the only one that really felt like home. The staff are warm and kind, the food is very good and the environment is attractive and well designed for access for people with mobility restrictions. Adam, the director, is a wonderful resource and has been so helpful in the transition process. We really couldn't be happier with our decision.

From the start, Adam, the director, and all of the employees were very welcoming to my dad and his family. My dad's assisted living facility was closing on short notice in Tampa, and Menorah Life was the only other Jewish Facility in the bay area. Adam worked closely with our family immediately to get everything accomplished for my dad to move to Menorah Life. I feel very lucky that we were able to get my dad into this facility. The facility is very homey, very clean, light and airy, and I would go as far as zen and relaxing. Sitting areas, outside areas, dining room, clean and welcoming. The food is amazing, and they have real coffee. There are various activities, music, games and an onsite Rabbi for shabbat and other activities. I recommend taking a look at this property for your loved ones.
