4.1 · 98 reviewsMy father was at the pointe for a few years. He fell 3 times. 1st time he broke his shoulder. 2nd and 3rd time was each hip. Since his passing, i have learned that they were getting double payments. Not only were they getting money from the VA, they were also taking his money. I was contacted about this, but that is all. They haven't refunded anything. They are money hungry people, with no compassion. Please, pass this place, and find another.

It was run by a wonderful management company, but about a year ago Colliers took over. They are not into this place for the residents, they’re all about money. The staff is mediocre at best. The food is absolutely horrible and mostly processed, medication is not given on a regular schedule, and they just do not look out for the needs of your loved one. I have since removed my father and he is now with us. If you love your family, don’t move them in here. Find another place. And a…

If I could give zero stars for this place, I would. I initially moved my parents into The Pointe three years ago. It was run by a wonderful management company, but about a year ago Colliers took over. They are not into this place for the residents, they’re all about money. The staff is mediocre at best. The food is absolutely horrible and mostly processed, medication is not given on a regular schedule, and they just do not look out for the needs of your loved one. I have since removed my father and he is now with us. If you love your family, don’t move them in here. Find another place. And a word to the wise, if you do move them into any facility, be sure you have a camera in their room. Absolutely incredible! I moved my father out of The Pointe, October 31. Today is November 13, and I receive a phone call from their activities director wondering when he’s getting out of the hospital so she can give him his veterans award. This just shows you further incompetence of this place.

The level of care delivered by Faith, Denise, and the Debra are just immeasurable. I have personal phone numbers to help with mom’s care. It makes my heart sing at the care that’s delivered from the pointe at collier! Personal care at its finest, is an understatement. Love them all!
The Pointe in St. Petersburg offers a bright, welcoming, environment that immediately helps residents and families feel at ease . The staff is consistently noted for being friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, often going above and beyond to support both residents and their loved ones . Its convenient location makes it easy for families to stay connected. The community also provides a wide variety of engaging activities. As a realtor that specializes in senior relocation this is a facility that I offer my clients.
Denise has such a big heart for the residents at The Pointe! She’s always kind, patient, and genuinely invested in their well-being, taking the time to get to know each person and ensure they feel valued and cared for. You can tell how much she loves what she does! The residents are fortunate to have her, and families can rest assured knowing she’s there.
I’ve known this building for several years and they are wonderful. Every Alf has its challenges. Things happen, but this place tries so hard to fix whatever issues arise and make patients and families happy. They truly do care about their residents. I would place my family member at the pointe in a heartbeat. Not many Alf’s have a nurse working there anymore, but the pointe does and that is another plus. Denise is the best.
