I’ve had the opportunity to visit The Barclay at ParkSquare several times for Hosted Events and have truly enjoyed speaking with many of the Residents! It is very clear that many enjoy being able to maintain the feel and lifestyle of their previous homes while also having the comfort of additional support as they enter the next chapter of their lives. The sense of community along with the ability to remain close to Family and Friends; seems to make this a Special place to live. Also, with the Very Inviting Staff from the Floor Staff to the Chef, and More you can be assured they take care Everything from Top to Bottom! The Property Itself is Beautiful, Maintained, and Gives you a Sense of Home! There is Vibrant Restaurant and Social Scene within Walking Distance that does add to the overall lifestyle and experience for residents and visiting family members alike!

Moving your parent(s) to an Assisted Living facility can be a stressful experience. Fortunately, after visiting several in the area, I met Barry Ger. He made the process much easier because of his friendly demeanor, upbeat attitude, understanding and patience. He explained the process, answered all my questions, walked me around the entire facility and introduced me to several of the staff, who were very warm and inviting. Before making a final decision, however, I visited The Barclay approximately 3-4 times. It was a process and Barry was always patient and made me feel welcome. Each time, he greeted me with a friendly smile and never pushed or prodded me to sign up. Rather, he’d invite me into his office, ask me how things were going and continually reassured me that I was making the best decision for my mother. After many months and several visits, I signed a contract and moved my mother in. Looking back, it was an excellent choice. My mother is happy, well cared for and looked after by Barry and the staff.
