The Opal at Lakes Park

When we needed an assisted living facility for my dad after a stroke, the Opal at Lakes Park came highly recommended, and I’m so glad we chose it! The management and staff were genuinely concerned about my dad, and I never found that he was neglected or needed care. My dad was able to make friends and participate in activities, and it was great to see him enjoying life at the Opal.

They took very good care of my mom. Staff is like family and treated us with respect and dignity. There wasn’t a time where we came to the community and there wasn’t something going on. My mom loved going to the lunch outings.

The staff there are very rude. I did something simple as dropping off a door dash to one sweet older lady and the staff member came to the door with an attitude and then rushed me by telling me to “hurry up” “I have other things to do” as I tried to walk out the door she yelled at me and said “I told you to wait for me, don’t touch the door”. If they treat delivery people like this. I can imagine how they treat the beautiful older people there. Check on your family members and ask how are they being treated please.

We toured The Opal at Lakes Park. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The building is very nice, neat, and clean. They have a nice garden area where people can sit outside. There's a lot of nature out there. It's very nature-like outside. They have a nice porch you can sit on if it's raining. They have a nice area that's all planted in pots with different plants. The food is good. They don't run out of things there, like coffee, cream, and stuff like that. The facility is very pleasant to look at. The living room is very pretty. Everything's done very nicely. They have a good activity department, too.
