The Fountains of Hope, in Sarasota, Florida, is identified on the community’s current official website as The Jasper of Sarasota, formerly The Fountains of Hope. It offers Assisted Living, Magnolia Trails Memory Care and short-term Respite Care on an eight-acre wooded campus near Lakewood Ranch. Residents can spend time indoors or outdoors and choose scheduled activities or a quieter routine.
Assisted Living may include help with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility and medication management. Before move-in, a health assessment informs an individual service plan describing the assistance needed, how often it is provided and who will provide it. Care also includes personal care, assessments, emergency response systems and coordination with families and physicians. A licensed nurse is onsite seven days a week. Assisted Living apartments range from a 355-square-foot studio to a 600-square-foot two-bedroom, with alcove and one-bedroom layouts. Memory Care has a 250-square-foot studio.

Apartments include individual climate control, air conditioning, high ceilings, walk-in closets, a full-size refrigerator and extra storage. Bathrooms have walk-in showers and built-in nightlights, and apartments have an emergency call system; optional pendants are available. Residents may bring furniture and personalize their apartments and entrances. Pet-friendly apartments are available, subject to limits on pets’ breed, size and number. The campus is smoke-free, and Wi-Fi is available in apartments and common areas.
Magnolia Trails serves people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia in a secured setting. Staff consider residents’ preferences, needs and cognitive state when shaping daily schedules, activities, dining and surroundings. Sensory elements include decor, sounds, smells, touch and taste. Programming includes brain stimulation, creative engagement, exercise, Creativity Boxes and Life Stations, with participation adapted to each person. Staff complete memory care training and a dementia care exam before working with residents. The team shares dementia care guides and updates with families and may coordinate with health care professionals. Residents have a secured courtyard and dedicated walking paths.
Respite stays provide temporary Assisted Living or Memory Care in furnished accommodations and may last a few weeks or longer. Guests can use all-day dining, fitness classes, transportation, wellness programs, activities and community amenities. Three chef-prepared meals are served daily, alongside all-day choices and snacks. Meals can be adjusted for dietary needs. The main dining room offers restaurant-style tableside service, and in-apartment dining is also available; Magnolia Trails offers family-style dining.
Weekly housekeeping includes apartment cleaning and linen changes. Laundry and trash services are provided, and onsite laundry facilities are available. The community handles home maintenance, with emergency maintenance available around the clock, and offers transportation. Shared spaces include a library and living rooms with fireplaces, a beauty salon and gathering areas. Gardens, walking paths and a covered lanai provide outdoor options. Activities may include fitness classes, art and crafts, lectures, live music, religious services and field trips, with participation optional. Nearby destinations include Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Fruitville Public Library and The Mall at University Town Center.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and right at home. Allie Miller gave me a wonderful tour and made the experience even more special. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a meal there, and the food was absolutely delicious. The residents seemed happy, engaged, and genuinely enjoying their community. Highly recommend checking them out if looking for a community for yourself or loved one.
I went on a tour of this beautiful community with Allie. She was incredibly knowledgeable about just about everything on this community. As a Senior Living Professional, I will tell you that the community here is incredibly well kept, extremely clean , the residents all seemed happy. I was quite impressed that Allie knew every single resident by name. She truly cares about each and everyone. I also had lunch here. I went on a tour of this beautiful community with Allie. She was incredibly knowledgeable about just about everything on this community. As a Senior Living Professional, I will tell you that the community here is incredibly well kept, extremely clean , the residents all seemed happy. I was quite impressed that Allie knew every single resident by name. She truly cares about each and everyone. I also had lunch here. The food presentation was beautiful and everything was fresh and delicious. If you were to ask me what stuck out the most. It’s the caring staff. You can tell the number one priority here is THE RESIDENTS

They weren't held up in their rooms, they were doing activities together and even a few of the men have some ego/man issues. It reminded me of a very close home situation, like a family. The property is beautiful, the staff involved and present. Hopefully this will be around when i need a place and Allie too because her presence liven up the place. The recent activities of the mother's day tea and men's speak easy that Allie created were AMAZING! she is a great asset. Stop on by and tour!

We recently checked my sister in at this assisted living. The staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The building is very well kept. The grounds are nicely landscaped. We had a tasty lunch that included a daily special and every day choices. The wait staff we polite and responsive. I want to thank everyone involved.
My 92 yr old mom, has been living at Fountains Of Hope, almost 2 years. My son & I are Very thankful we found this hidden gem. The staff is caring, professional, and attentive to all her needs. She enjoys bingo, as Sunny, the activities director, is wonderful. Fountains Of Hope is a CLEAN, beautiful, facility with many activities. I am very picky, and have visited many assisted living options in the area. I recommend you visit and see for yourself. Ask for Allie Miller, tell her Allison H sent you.
Fountains of Hope has been a wonderful home for our loved one. The building is beautiful and extremely clean inside with a grand dining room which leads out to a lanai and serene garden to enjoy. Above all, the caregivers are the most caring and loving staff that I have encountered. I have recommended this assisted living/memory care facility to many friends who also feel blessed to have a place for their loved ones to reside. I highly recommend that you consider Fountains of Hope when in search of a comfortable, safe environment for your family member. ~Tammy Y.
As a Transitional Care Manager with Care Patrol, I work closely with several senior living communities throughout Sarasota, and I confidently recommend Fountains of Hope Senior Living. With new management in place, I have seen a major improvement in this community. From a professional standpoint, the community demonstrates an appropriate standard of care and engagement. The building is clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff are friendly, attentive, and visibly present throughout the community, which provides both residents and families with peace of mind. The private rooms are very nice and thoughtfully designed to support comfort and dignity. A special highlight is Sunny, the Activities Director, who is truly involved with the residents and offers a wide variety of engaging activities that support socialization and quality of life. It’s clear the residents are encouraged to stay active and well connected. Fountains of Hope is a wonderful option for seniors seeking a supportive, warm, and well-run community in Sarasota, and I am happy to recommend it to the families I serve.
My beautiful grandmother, Marta Brand, stayed here and passed away on January 25th of 2026. May God rest her amazing soul. The staff at this location went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure my grandmothers final months/year that she was in great care. My grandmother was from Bolivia, and the staff made her feel so loved.
