The Brennity at Melbourne Senior Living

I cannot give this place any stars please do not put anyone you love in this community. The executive Director is uncaring and frankly worthless. She told a friend of mine that if she was unhappy, she should just move out. She doesn’t return phone calls. I don’t know what she’s doing in this position. Go to any other community but do not put your loved ones here they will not do well. They will not be happy.

Edit: Now you have to call after midnight. And if you wait until 7am, then all the good reservation times are already taken. Brennity is just making senior life more and more difficult. New horrors from the horrible management at the Brennity. Now, if you want to go the Sunday brunch buffet (no dinner available on Sunday), you have to start calling at exactly 7pm (not 6:58, or 6:59) to make a "reservation." Good luck getting through since everyone is calling at that point. If you don't get through until later then you're relegated to a much later time where food is picked over. If you're visiting to check them out, don't go for one of the celebration meals like Mother's Day or the Sunday brunch when there's a little more options for food, go mid week for lunch or dinner. Options are very limited and they don't stray much from very boring bland meat and potatoes. I'm also worried about how they'll manage with a hurricane. Recently they had a big power outage (I don't believe it was their fault), but they called the residents' home phones to check on them. You know, ...the phones that need power... If no one got through, they didn't bother to call alternate numbers or check on those residents. Some residents who couldn't use stairs were stranded on the 2nd and 3rd floors for 24-ish hours or more as the elevators weren't working, so there was no way to get food. This place is getting worse and worse as the fees keep increasing. We'll be leaving by years end.

Appointments to eat lunch and dinner. Food is marginal at best. Would not recommend. Moving soon.

We had the BEST time celebrating Anoel’s birthday at The Brennity at Melbourne! From the moment we walked in, we were wowed,spacious, clean, and so welcoming. ✨ The staff made us feel right at home, the food was amazing, and the live music set the perfect party vibe. 🎶🍽️ Huge shoutout to them for being super accommodating for my picky little eaters—they loved their special meals! 👏💛 A truly unforgettable birthday for the whole family! Highly recommend for any celebration! 🥳🎈
