If there is a concerned raised , Cynthia addresses it immediately. This can be a difficult time for most people, and my mother and I are both grateful for the positive experience at The Blake.
I have worked together with The Blake on a few projects and whenever I’ve gone in there, I have noticed how much the staff seems to care about the residents there. The Blake is very clean and has quite a bit going on for everyone. We have even had the pleasure of trying some of their food at different events and it is delicious.. Thank you to Reetu and her team for making such a great option for our senior community.
Moving my parents into The Blake at Viera was one of the most meaningful decisions our family has made. Mom has been at the Blake for almost two years now and is very happy there. The facility is well maintained. The staff is wonderful. It is obvious that they think of the residents as family. The care is top notch.
I would like to recognize the nursing staff and activities team at The Blake at Viera for the kindness, compassion, and care they show to my loved one. The nurses were attentive, patient, and always treated our family member with dignity and respect. The activities staff also did a wonderful job keeping the residents engaged, social, and involved in daily activities. It was nice seeing the effort they put into creating enjoyable moments and encouraging the residents to participate and interact with one another. No place is perfect, but the staff truly worked hard and showed genuine concern for the residents. We are especially grateful for the reassurance, communication, and comfort they provided during difficult moments. Thank you to the nurses, caregivers, and activities team for all that you do each day.
My mother moved to the Blake 18 months ago. From the beginning, administration and staff welcomed her. She is very happy with her apartment (nice size compared to other places we visited), the food, the fun activities (loves Stacey and the activity staff), and especially the friendly atmosphere. She has made lots of friends and feels comfortable in her surroundings. We like that fact that most of the staff from the front desk, to maintenance and housekeeping, to aides, to nurses, to Fox Fitness, know my mother and treat her as an individual. The dining staff even know how she likes her coffee and her favorite salad dressing! The size and location is convenient, too.
If you're reading this, you probably understand the difficulty, stress and worry of aging parents. After two years, my parents have had a consistently good experience. Safety, correct medications, cleanliness, meals, loving care - everyone deserves high praise. I'd give special shout outs but there are too many!
My mom moved to the Blake 2 years ago. . Best decision our family made. The nursing staff is exceptional and available. Don’t know how we would manage without the Blake
