South Heritage Health & Rehab Center

a small 68 bed facility, all semi private rooms, the social worker is truly about the patients and has been working there for 38 years. They are more centered on patient care since we are a smaller facility. The therapists are all wonderful and they focus and pride them selves on rehabilitating and getting the patients home, to Alf or successfully transition to LTC

I was dropped off on march 25, 2025 and the driver rolled me into my disgusting bedroom which had two beds and another patient and no one helped him no one came in the room. No one checked me in so he made the bed up for me and help me get in the bed it was around 11 at night and I asked for a urinal and they told me they would have to look for one. The one girl came back and said. find any later on another nurse came in and I asked her for one she went looking around and said no I don’t have any. I’ve got a used one here if you wanna use it so of course I said yes I needed it. She gave me the P and that was the last I saw of anyone till 7 AM the next morning no one came by to give me any medication. Check on me give me water absolutely nothing the manager or whoever was in charge that evening never did a damn thing for me. I was wrapped up in that bed like a prisoner I could not put any weight on my leg left leg, and also my left arm was in a sling and couldn’t be used. It was absolutely miserable trying to get anybody to do anything for me and when I woke up, I had to go to the bathroom really bad nobody came to the room and then I guess the shift changed the seven till 11 shift and they helped me as much as I needed, but I could just not stand to be there any longer so my wife came, and I had to put myself in the back of her car and that was a good riddance Also, the patient next to me was on a CPAC machine and it was gargling so loud and so continual it was much worse than snoring. Just the whole experience was a zero star.

Exceptional care, the administrator and Don are fantastic, patient and truly caring towards all patients

Less than one star. The staff would run to my mom’s room as I entered the building for damage control. Therapy never came, they ignored her call button, shut her door so she couldn’t call for help, dirty, left her flat for 2 days in a broken bed., A nightmare 2 weeks until we could get her transferred out. Don’t send your loved one here to be ignored. My mom barely survived the ordeal.
