A special thank you to the nurse I shadowed Marie Dhaiti for being so kind, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to teach and answer questions. The staff created such a supportive learning environment and have truly helped me grow in both my skills and confidence as a nursing student. I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Solaris Healthcare-Forest Lake, which has been an exceptional place for our nursing students. The facility has not only provided a welcoming environment, but has also been instrumental in teaching the clinical aspects of long-term care nursing. In addition to providing quality education, the facility itself is well-maintained and offers a compassionate atmosphere for the residents. It's evident that the nurses truly care about their residents and the students who come to learn. The Therapy Department staff is also very impressive, providing a positive and encouraging atmosphere for the residents as they progress through their individualized sessions. Thank you, Solaris Healthcare, for providing a positive learning experience for the OSN students.
There are times in life when Family Support is essential. When my sister was admitted to Solaris Forest Lake, we both felt we'd met Family we didn't know we had. Jackie was our first contact, admissions. She made my sister feel so welcome, safe and cared for. She would regularly stop by for chats, a laugh and to do things above and beyond her obligations. A very kind lady. Jackie was also the leader in our Medicaid application, another great accomplishment. Ava was the first nurse to care for my sister during her stay. She turned a frightening uncertainty into Hope with her warm heart.…

A very kind lady. Jackie was also the leader in our Medicaid application, another great accomplishment. Ava was the first nurse to care for my sister during her stay. She turned a frightening uncertainty into Hope with her warm heart. Kimberlee and Jason were our next Heroes. They helped me understand the financial path so clearly, with such reassurance through the Medicaid process - For six months! So many times did Kimberlee said to me, "Don't Worry .. it's gonna be ok"..And it Was. Josh, Kevin and Sandi are special heroes to my sister, the Pysio Therapy Team. They gave her Hope and Encouragement every day. Finally, Tamnisha, who facilitated my sister's transition to Assisted Living. We're very grateful to her, she thought of every detail. Words cannot truly express how grateful Trish and I are to our extended family at Solaris Forest Lake.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Solaris Healthcare Apopka. From the moment my family member was admitted, the team provided exceptional, compassionate care. The therapists are highly skilled and genuinely invested in their patients' recovery, making sure the entire plan of care was clear and tailored to their needs. The nurses are attentive, the facility is clean, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. Highly recommended to anyone looking for quality short-term rehab or long-term care in the Apopka area.

My mom transferred into Solaris Healthcare Forest Lake on Friday late afternoon and everyone has been so friendly and helpful! Her nurses I have met have been Immacula, Iffie, Dawshawn, Tammy and Pavlove. Her techs I met have been Christy and Remy. I can’t say enough about their care!!! My mom is very lucky to be in a facility that cares about their patients like Forest Lake!! I also want to thank Jackie and Brenna for all your help!!
I was visiting this weekend and was honestly shocked by the strong urine smell throughout the facility and the lack of care toward residents. The way the area manager approached a sick resident was brutal. What was most concerning is that this behavior occurred in front of visitors. It makes me uncomfortable to imagine what residents may experience behind closed doors when no one is watching. Families should pay close attention and regularly check on their loved ones if they are living at this facility. Respect, hygiene, and proper care should be the minimum standard.
