However, the "chatbox" on their website simply provides a number to call no matter what your question is. I.e. USELESS 2. When I called the provided number for "Independent Living" questions and asked if they had any openings in Independent Living, a women with a gravely smoker's voice said she would "connect me with someone in HR" before I quickly cut her off to tell her I was inquiring about a relative LIVING THERE. So the people they have answering the phone don't even recognize when…

1. Wanted to determine if the community even has any openings for Independent Living units vs. a wait list. However, the "chatbox" on their website simply provides a number to call no matter what your question is. I.e. USELESS 2. When I called the provided number for "Independent Living" questions and asked if they had any openings in Independent Living, a women with a gravely smoker's voice said she would "connect me with someone in HR" before I quickly cut her off to tell her I was inquiring about a relative LIVING THERE. So the people they have answering the phone don't even recognize when someone is trying to PURCHASE ONE OF THEIR CONDO'S. 3. After saying ..."Hmm, let me see if I can connect you to someone in Independent Living who can help with that" (again, this was the number the chatbox provided for questions regarding Independent Living), as though she wasn't even sure who that might be...I got cut off. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY. If they can't hire and/or train competent people to even answer the phone, why would you want to spend the money to live there?
Please love your Mom and don’t send her here. I tried to report an abusive nurse “Angela,” and instead of discipline, my Mom, the victim was removed from facility.

Expensive!!!!
My husband is in Sarasota Bay Club skilled nursing. They're very good. The only downside is they don't take Medicare. It was out-of-pocket. The care is very good. It's very clean and easy to get around, and everyone is so helpful. His room is huge. It's a private room, and it's very nicely furnished. They have little community rooms and a movie room. The staff is exceptional. My husband ate everything. It is expensive, but it is the best in town.
Well maintained beautiful on the bay
Sarasota Bay Club is excellent, but it's out of my financial reach. I've tried their Sunday brunches every week, and they're just outstanding. The rooms were fine. For the amount of money you have to spend to buy a place there, I did not feel it was worth it. They have a small library and an outdoor pool. They also play bridge where 36-40 people participate. I found the residents wonderful; in fact, I made friends that are residents there.
Getting responses and anyone to communicate at this place is IMPOSSIBLE. I give them ZERO stars for communication of loved one in their facility!
