Resnick Assisted Living at MorseLife

This is an amazing place, it’s clean and the staff are amazing. My mom came here after seeing what the rest of palm beach had to offer and I couldn’t be happier, they are so attentive. I would like to mention two staff members in particular that have gone above and beyond. Anthony which works in sales is so much more than his title, he helps every step of the way and makes the transition understandable, and is still in touch even after the move in, if it wasn’t for him I don’t know what we would have done. The other staff member is Alba, she is a CNA in my mom’s wing, she is compassionate, helpful, and an overall amazing person. She has also made this transition amazingly simple.

Most of the folks that work there are very nice, but there are one or two that you can very much tell when they’re having a bad day because they’re rude and you often will basically run into the roundabout phrase, but the bottom line of the definition of it is, “that’s not my job”. Clearly placing a parent in a place like this is not ideal. It’s not something that a person who has worked their entire life wants to end up. The building itself is very sturdy, which is very good for being in South Florida. I will say that sometimes nurses get burnt out … either need a vacation or possibly a break from working in this particular industry, perhaps in another type of medical business might be just the change they need. This is not the industry for the weak. It takes great strength, dedication and patience. Most everyone displays all of these traits.

In helping a dear friend, I had opportunity to work with a variety of MorseLife support organizations. From Palliative care through PACE and finally into assisted living at Resnick. As anyone who has experienced these types of situations knows, there are many bumps in the road. But everyone associated with MorseLife has been great to work with. Up to and including Moses, the Sales Manager at Resnick. A person as caring and helpful as the organization he represents. Nothing is ever perfect but Resnick offers a clean, safe, helpful and caring environment. My friend's assistance is tailored to her needs. I have found the staff at Resnick, for the most part, to be patient and attentive. And the social activities available are varied and plentiful. I highly suggest Resnick be one of the facilities you tour during the investigative portion of your journey. They're as good as there is and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Always a difficult decision to see your parents have to transition to an assisted living facility. Moses helped make that transition as smooth as possible. There is no perfect place, but Resnick has so many loving staff members who truly do their best to care for your loved ones.. A clean and loving atmosphere.
