Assisted Living and Memory Care in Inverness, with spaces to feel at home and support for your next chapter.
Ask about this communityPleasant Grove Manor in Inverness, Florida, is described in available listings as an assisted living community in a countryside setting. The property is set back from the road on a wooded lot near the edge of a suburban development. Descriptions mention trees, landscaped outdoor space, a patio or porch, and public parks and nature preserves in the surrounding Inverness area. Listed shared spaces include a dining room, an indoor gathering area, a television lounge, and places for visitors to sit.
Community descriptions identify help with everyday personal care and household tasks. Assistance listed in older descriptions includes bathing, dressing, eating, moving about, toileting, laundry, cooking, and medication support. Medication services are described as including administration or assistance, as well as support for residents who manage their own medicines. An operator page associated with the address also describes medicines being scheduled and documented. Amenities listings name incontinence care, diabetic care, and support for people who are not ambulatory. These descriptions do not establish which services are currently available to an individual resident.
Room details vary among the available listings, which mention studio or one-bedroom layouts as well as private and shared rooms; they do not provide a consistent account of the available arrangements. Room amenities named in third-party listings include kitchenettes, air conditioning, television service, and internet access. Dining descriptions include three meals and snacks, food prepared by an in-house cook, and accommodations for different diets. Listed options include vegan, international, no-sugar, and low- or no-sodium meals. Room service and guest meals are also mentioned. A differently branded operator page for the address lists respite stays and arrangements for couples or spouses, but the available pages do not confirm that these offerings apply under the Pleasant Grove Manor name.
Activity listings include art classes, stretching, gardening, trivia, and pet-focused programs. Devotional activities are listed both on-site and off-site, along with community-service programs and birthday and holiday gatherings. A community description says the activity schedule is shaped by residents and that visitors are welcome. Other listed services include housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and a beauty salon and barber shop.
An operator page associated with the address describes an admission assessment coordinated with the resident’s primary-care provider within 30 days, with care plans reviewed at admission, annually, and after significant changes. It also describes nursing coverage through a third-party, 24-hour arrangement; the page uses a different community name, so continuity with Pleasant Grove Manor is not established. That page places Citrus Hospital and a CVS at about five miles away, and Publix and Winn-Dixie roughly 4.6 to 4.7 miles away. Transportation is described as coordinated for family or medical trips, with a community van mentioned when available. The available pages do not establish the community’s present operating status or confirm current memory-care services.

Very caring staff and I am very happy with the care they provide.
My loved one as previously a resident at Pleasant Grove Manor and the experience was great for her there. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff and care services were also great. The facility was closed, but I would have recommended it to others.
Was a good place as far as the people who worked there. Very caring. The corporate group that owned it were not good. Closed with almost no notice and left us very confused. Moved to another facility they owned way sooner than we were told they would.
This facility was great but they recently closed it down and sent my grandmother to there place in Crystal River. It is awful and we are moving her.
I chose Pleasant Grove Manor for my companion. It's a smaller facility with the potential to expand. The care and some of the features that they offer are different than the average ones under the older generation that's running them. So the newer generation is an asset. The food is all home-cooked. They don't have a high patient-to-staff ratio, so they're able to give more precise care. They have a courtyard, and he's allowed to come out and go wherever. I'm in the process of getting him a bus because they don't have a vehicle for transport. It is near everything within a few miles. The administration is younger. They have some very innovative ideas, which include putting pictures and shelves outside the door so that if the residents lose their memory, they have pictures of their family and they can find their room. I just think that's brilliant.
My mother has been here now almost a year. I don’t have any complaints. The staff is pleasant to my mom . Be involved with your love one. Get to know the staff and pop in at any time . The current staff is wonderful to me and my mom.
My brother just went into the facility 1-1/2 wks ago and my other brother, sister-in-law and I were concerned (stressed) how we were going to get him to stay there. With the help/advice of Julie, admin, it went surprisingly well. After being in there a few days I called to check on his progress/mood and we discussed the possibility of us maybe getting an acoustical guitar to give him an interest during the day bcuz he's been a musician his whole life and Julie thought that might be a good idea too. Before my family had a chance to look for one Julie notified me her husband had found one on Amazon and ordered it for him. How awesome is that - that they were so pro-active. Our experience has been nothing but great so far.
