Parkside Tamarac

We are so great full to have found Parkside for the care of our Father. A place where there is no “patients” but deserving human beings receiving the best experience and daily routines possible. George and all his staff are truly exceptional professionals. Don’t hesitate to pay them a visit. Highly recommend.

I am so grateful to Parkside Memory Care for the helping me after my 92-year-old dad had surgery and could no longer live on his own and needed placement immediately. The director, Seema, was highly accommodating, and I could tell she genuinely cares about her residents and their families. I am especially grateful to Jorge who has rolled out the red carpet for me and my dad. He is always there to problem solve, from helping me get a mini fridge installed in my dad's room, to doing me a special favor and lending me a wheelchair for me to take my dad to see his cardiologist, to helping me connect his digital frame to Wi-Fi. The facility is beautiful with four residential wings they call "neighborhoods." It's practically new, a little over a year old. It's kept clean and the activities they provide are really special and thoughtfully planned. The food is good and the residents eat their regular meals in their neighborhood's own dining area with placemats, real silverware, no plastic cups or paper plates. My dad's room is beautiful, and the bathroom is spacious and functional for their elderly residents. The rooms have lots of natural light, and are very bright and cheerful. Fast forward 40 years and I wouldn't mind living there, not too shabby! The staff are kind and attentive. It's been about 6 weeks, and he is still getting adjusted, but I know it takes time, especially for someone with memory issues. Back in my own home, I rest peacefully at night knowing he is in a safe and caring environment.

Parkside Memory care in Tamarac is a safe, clean,efficient, and very caring place. The staff, nurses, doctors, etc,are very profesional Care Givers. It’s hard for me to express how much I love Parkside Tamarac! Seema and her staff are meticulous, caring, kind, and incredible. Every nurse and aide that I have met has been caring, and very considerate to my mother and the other residents. Jorge, is the glue that keeps the activities and the Residence together. He seems like he does everything for everybody. Has an incredible personality, is always around, and loves the residents sincerely. If you are looking for the premier memory care center for your loved one. Please take a very hard look at Parkside. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my mom.

5-Star Review We cannot recommend this facility highly enough. When my mother-in-law had nowhere else to go and needed immediate placement, they welcomed her in the middle of the night and made room for her on the spot. A staff member even stayed behind to ensure she was safe and comfortable. From day one, the care was exceptional. They quickly noticed she needed assistance during the night and began checking on her every two hours to help with restroom needs, always with kindness and attentiveness. The entire staff treats every resident like family — they are genuinely loving, supportive, and go above and beyond. The food is outstanding — everything is freshly prepared daily by the chef, never frozen. Residents enjoy games and activities together, and the team is wonderful at preventing any issues by gently redirecting with positive distractions, keeping the atmosphere peaceful and joyful. My mother-in-law was always clean, well-fed, entertained, and emotionally supported. In just a few weeks, she became almost unrecognizable — happier, healthier, and more vibrant. We are so grateful for the compassionate care she received here. Though we had to move her to be with her husband, we would return in a heartbeat if needed. This place is truly special. Thank you for caring so well for our loved one!
