4.2 · 78 reviewsI have enjoyed my year at Park Place. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Melissa Auguston is a GEM. She plans so many fun and interesting activities and crafts for us to participate in. Her sweet nature to all of the residents makes any trip or craft fun. Many of the residents have vision problems and Melissa assists and encourages them all. She is more than a dedicated employee, she makes us feel like her friend. The maintenance crew are "johnny on the spot" to assist with our neéds.
My parents have recently moved to Park Place and it has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. The staff and residents have been extremely welcoming, which made the transition smooth and reassuring. Their apartment is not only beautiful but also spacious, giving them a comfortable place to truly feel at home. It's especially comforting to know they've settled in so well and feel safe in their new community. We're really happy and feel it's a supportive, engaging place for them.
After I had a serious accident and my wife became handicapped, we moved into senior living in The Woodlands, Texas. We spent 4 years there and decided to move to Northwest Indiana. We decided on Park Place of St John. This was by far the best choice for us. The apartments are top-of-the-line; large and spacious, well-equipped with up-to-date appliances, and every amenity we had at home. The staff is outstanding, friendly, and meets every need. It is with heavy hearts that we have decide leave Park Place of St John but need to move closer to family. We have made many good friends and…

We cannot say enough good things about Park Place of St John.

I cannot think of a better place to be this side of heaven. Everyone is so kind and friendly .the staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful and the food is excellent.
My Mom has been at Park Place for 3yrs now & I can't think of a better place to live. She has thrived under their care. The nurse in charge of the assisted living section Tracy is AMAZING! She treats my Mom & from what I have seen all patients like they are her own parents. I would definitely recommend Park Place to anyone looking for an assisted living for their loved one.
All of the staff has been friendly and helpful and respectful.
A sign was posted outside to tour facility. Upon entering and meeting the facility representative the first words spoken was we are private pay not medicaid. What a turn off! There was only one resident visible on the memory care floor sitting with family and no staff. It was a well maintained facility but left us with the questions of why the secure memory floor had the spa/beauty area, physical therapy and laundry which was not shown to us. No other homes or the first floor were shown to us with vague explanations.
