Great community. Nick the maintenance director is fantastic. He handles whatever needs to be done, quickly. The way he interacts with the residents is something special. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful and well kept. The residents are engaged in activities the entire day. Lovely place. Would recommend to others as we’ve had a great experience.
Marie M is fantastic and always greets everyone with a big smile. She made the transition here so much easier.

Elder care facilities are part of a really tough industry. We have had good experiences at PBMC. The staff are caring, attentive and kind, in particular the Director of Nursing, Katonya Perue, is very responsive, accountable and a pleasure (no drama!). Everyone, from the front staff and management team, work very hard. It's not easy to care for so many people in varying states of dementia and distress. No place is perfect - it definitely helps for a family member to be on site nearly every day to catch things that could be better. I think the main recommendation I'd have to improve is better consistency with staff training, permanent message boards for each room with printed and dated instructions / checklists for care staff to read at each shift start. The facility itself is new and quite attractive in particular because it has interior courtyards accessible to residents and very good natural light in all the rooms. It would be nice if sound-proofing could be added to the main sitting area, as the acoustics are deafening and make visiting hard as it requires shouting to be heard over all the competing noise. On the whole we've been quite happy though in the 10 months we've had our loved one here.
