Oakbridge Terrace at Edgewater at Boca Pointe

My 96 year old mother broke her tibia and ended up in the hospital. She was Doing well when she was discharged to Edgewater rehabilitation on July 8, 2025. They did physical therapy with her and she was alert and doing very well. The next day she started going downhill From there. Turns out that they had bacterial pneumonia, Or so, we were told, that killed three other residents. They didn’t put her on. An antibiotic for three days due to concerns about her allergies. Every day after that, she continue to go downhill. She is now back in the hospital. With pneumonia, the broken tibia, and RSV. I thanked them to let her go home. They refused, saying that he had to finish the course of antibiotics. When they called me today and asked me if I would consent to sending her to the hospital I said absolutely. And she is not going back there. Ever. Just pray that she makes it out of this alive. Her arms are black and blue, and leaking from the pick line. I have yet to find a rehab in Boca Raton that I would recommend to anybody. Well, I do have to say that most of the nurses were very kind and helpful at book a point, I did not like Management. They were all about trying to talk me down when I Complained, and I went against my best interest by keeping her there.
