Oak Manor Senior Living Community

We were apprehensive to say the least but had heard how great the therapy program was., the facility may be a bit dated., but very clean and most importantly filled with employees that are genuinely nice and pleasant. The therapy program did not disappoint., the therapists knew my dad on the first day. Everyone positive and motivating. The patients all have a team spirit that is infectious. I highly recommend Oak Manor for the personal attention they give each patient. i would be comfortable here.

My mother-in-law moved to Oak Manor not long after my late husband and I moved from Tampa to Largo. She relocated to Largo after her retirement to be close to her only child. She was very happy with her villa and easily made friends during the social activity times in the main dining area and many times my friend Karen and I would join her for the live entertainment offered there. As she progressed in age memory lapses started and we sought visiting angels to help with light housekeeping and such. Sadly my husband 's health declined and he passed away. At 4 months after his passing she fell and broke her hip. When I arrived after a call from Oak Manor to follow the ambulance which they had called, someone was there on the floor holding her hand and 2 others present. They gave me comfort as well . This is one reason I am writing this. She was moved into their rehab facility upon her hospital discharge where she received excellent care. Although emptying her villa since she wouldn't be returning there was difficult, I had help from staff at Oak Manor and they even found another resident who adopted her cat. Sadly her early dementia progressed to the point that she needed to be in the nursing facility. I received assistance from management with the transition and the first couple of years I would go to bingo and sit with her as her hearing declined. When I couldn't be there the person running the game so to speak would have her sit by her so she could see the numbers and still play. The personnel there are caring and I've never heard anyone there complaining about their jobs or what they do. I have told my children if something happens to me and I need assistant living, I want to be at Oak Manor . She is now in late stages of dementia, 98 years of age, and still is being checked on and treated well considering the circumstances. I cannot praise them enough. Sincerely, Janice

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oak Manor Assisted Living & Rehab and especially Ashley. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the compassion and genuine care they have for their residents. She embodies what it truly means to care for seniors, leading with kindness, patience, empathy, and professionalism. It is rare to meet someone who treats every resident like family. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for compassionate, quality senior care.

My mother has been a resident for 5 years. The staff goes above and beyond to care for their residents. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. They provide nice meals and wonderful activities all week. A special thanks to Ashley!! You’re wonderful.

From the 1st interaction with Ashley I felt a warm welcoming feeling she was soo proud of what she does and what Oak Manor offers she was soo pleasant and patient when I brought my mom for the tour so there was no question along with some of the other staff it was the right choice for my mom as I know she’ll be safe and taken care of and that feeling is immeasurable 😊
