Oak Hill Senior Living

My dad Gilberto Cruz-Cotto was here for 22 days during the Hurricane Milton two years ago. I was allowed to stay day and night to care for him which i was happy to do because this allowed me to be with my dad and help the wonderful nurses and CNAs have one less patient to worry about. The nursing staff at this facility were all beyond awesome. I dealt with many staffs and nurses during those 22 days but i want to name three but will give each one their own review. Carmen Román was awesome, being bilingual was a plus cause dad understood her and though he was hard of hearing she was very patient to his needs. She was gentle and took care when she changed his bandages on his legs and his medications were always on time. Carmen was very professional and beautifull always. Unfortunately dad passed away on March 16th 2026 but before going to the hospice hospital he was going to try Oakhill Senior living first. RIP dad. This place was always clean and the meals dad enjoyed, PT was ok but dad just wanted to rest lol. Thank you Carmen you have made a big difference in our lives. Love the Cruz-Cotto family

Amazing the great food at lunch that jenny at the Bistro made. Jenny is a beautiful person with a humble heart. She always have a happy and great actituded. Everytime when l go to the bistro she have a smile and make me feel grateful and comfort. That's the reason l come back to eat. She is the kind of person that this world need. Thank you for all you do!

Memory Care for my Mom was very good. The nurses and CNA's were attentive and helpful. The activities were well thought out and both Debbie and Ashley cared for the residents like they were their own parents. They tried to keep them engaged, and had fun activities that made the residents laugh, and feel good. When you arrived each day, they could tell you how your parent was feeling, and if they were participating. There seems to be a high employee turnover rate, and lack of communication in other parts of the facility like SNF, where my mother was also a resident, lack of caring and knowledge of Alzheimer patient needs, and patience with the residents. Two CNA's, Simeca and Yesenia, are caring, and I could tell they were there because they had a calling. This part of the facility seems drastically understaffed and when the call button is pushed, sometimes the wait can be 20 minutes. All in all, the Memory Care side is good, but I would not recommend the SNF.

My dad has been in memory care almost 4 years. I am very pleased with his care. I would like to give a special thank you to our activities lady Debbie for her wonderful caring and thoughtful consideration for all of the residents. She is wonderful. Also Jenny at the bistro is the best.
