My friend is being well taken care of by a dedicated, caring staff. I have seen improvements in his physical and mental health. For having to go through this trying time in his life, I'm comforted that we found Northwoid Manor, and have a knowledgeable, committed staff in our corner !

This is an excellent assisted living group home for those who are seeking a safe and close knit living environment for their elderly loved one. The care and attention that they have provided my grandmother is beyond words. I drop by unannounced and sporadically throughout the year and my grandmother is always well groomed and in good spirits. The home facility has always been clean and well furnished and very comfortable. Most residents who stay there have been there for many years. My grandmother has been living there for over 3 years and she is 109 years old. The care she has been receiving has allowed her to thrive there. Everyone at the home is friendly and supportive. Shereve is the owner/manager and she does an excellent job advocating for the residents and making sure the appropriate care and attention is being provided. I would highly recommend NorthWood Manor ALF as an assisted living facility.

This kind owner accepted my friend late Friday on a holiday weekend when her caregivers did not come to her home! They helped get her inside, and prepared a snack for her because she'd missed dinner. They immediately concerned themselves with her comfort, and introduced everyone. When we discovered her insurance would not cover their county, the owner was gracious and understanding, and cared for my friend until i could relocate her after the weekend. The facility is clean and smelled nice, and everyone was helpful. It's a lovely home atmosphere, and I would trust my beloved friend to their care with full confidence.

My Mother has been a resident at Northwood Manor for almost 2 years. She is now 83. I am a Nurse Leader at an area hospital overseeing a very busy cardiac inpatient unit and my Mom had gotten to a point where she needede 24 hour care and observation. It is never an easy decision when you have to place a parent in a residential facility because you are physically, mentally and emotionally unable to provide the level of continous care that an aging parent needs, however, the Administrator Shereve and her team of staff have been nothing short of phenomenal. As a healthcare executive for more than 30 years, I am very observant, and I can tell you they provide exceptional care to all of the residents. They care for them like family. I visit my Mom regularly on different days and at different times and she is always well maintained, as are the other residents. The decor is very homey and the place is always spotlessly clean. The team is very supportive. They constantly keep me informed about anything they think my Mom may need and make great recommendations to enhance her well being. My Mom can be a handful as she is in the very early stages of dementia and my mind is at complete peace knowing that she is getting the highest level of compassionate care at Northwood Manor. I highly recommend this ALF.
