“We are so happy we were able to find a place for Dad to stay. He's been there two weeks, and so far, it's been a great experience. Teresa is so kind, helpful and knowledgable about this whole world of assisted living, and every staff member I've talked to has been cheerful and welcoming. Recommended”

They will act in retaliation against the families of those who have been admitted into their care if you have to transfer facility homes or keep in contact with them to ensure tailored care is provided. P.S. they just replied acting as though my comment is fraudulent but I have video surveillance of my family members entering their building. I can post it if required for validation purposes. I have also signed in my family members in person and have record gps that will reflect that I…

I hope your practices and leadership qualities improve because based on your performance and the way you treat people, I would not recommend.

They are compassionate, attentive, and treat my father with the dignity, patience, and respect he deserves. His individual needs are not just met — they are anticipated. The environment feels more like a home than a facility, which has made a huge difference in his comfort, healing, and emotional well-being. The communication with families is excellent, and we always feel included and informed about his care. The peace of mind we have knowing he is in such capable and loving hands is truly priceless. New Journeys has been a true blessing for our family, and we are deeply grateful for the heart, professionalism, and excellence they demonstrate every day. 5 Stars New Journey Residential Home Care in Tallahassee, Florida has truly been a blessing for our family. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my mom — and now my father as well. New Journey offers so many activities that keep them engaged and active, and it’s made a noticeable difference. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my mom’s social and mental skills since she arrived. As for my dad, his health has improved tremendously in less than a week! I am beyond grateful for the compassionate, attentive, and professional care they receive. Highly recommend New Journey to anyone looking for a loving, supportive home for their loved ones!
I never thought that after all our previous horrible experiences that I would be able to have peace of mind leaving my mom at any place besides The Elder Care Day Stay. I was beyond burned out taking care of my mom on my own for so long and desperately took a chance at respite care at New Journeys. It was the first break I've had in six years! Theresa actually told me that if I returned outside of the eighth day, she was telling her staff not to allow me inside the home...she saw that I was so very worn out. Take it from someone who has been through the worst in Tallahassee nursing home care , this place is where you can leave your loved ones and sleep at nights without worry or concern for their well-being. In an industry filled with staff that have become jaded, cold and removed, lacking empathy and basic human decency, Byron and Theresa are making an impactful difference. I also met Jada who handles the day shift. She is a wonderful young lady, who from observation not only caters to the needs of those unable to fend for themselves, but does so with a level of respect and caring that speaks volumes. This might be a very long review, but it is coming from someone who has a lot to say about this little gem of a place after all our terrible experiences with other health care places here in Tallahassee. Thank you New Journeys for the first chance to rest in six years!!!
The staff is so sweet and compassionate. The facility is always clean, and they create such a warm environment for their residents.
Teresa is awesome!!She’s hardworking and very dedicated to her residents I would highly recommend New Journeys any day!
