“New Beginning is a quiet low-key place. Junia Osme is an outstanding care-giver. Unfortunately, this has not proved to be a good fit for my father and I will be moving him soon as possible. He needs a place with more staff to deal with his "sundowning" that has been exacerbated by the stress of being in a new living situation.”

4.0 · 3 reviewsThis is a residential home used as an Assisted Living facility. The house looks o.k., but I was not at all impressed with the staff, care, or quality of life offered residents. There are NO activities; this is the epitome of boring! Just felt like sitting and waiting to die... depressing. Staff just sat and texted on their cell phones or watched T.V. each time I visited and my loved one was not happy there. He had sugar ants in his room (probably from keeping some food in his night stand, but staff should be overseeing such things). Mid-day meal was a skimpy sandwich... usually the lunch meal…

This is a residential home used as an Assisted Living facility. The house looks o.k., but I was not at all impressed with the staff, care, or quality of life offered residents. There are NO activities; this is the epitome of boring! Just felt like sitting and waiting to die... depressing. Staff just sat and texted on their cell phones or watched T.V. each time I visited and my loved one was not happy there. He had sugar ants in his room (probably from keeping some food in his night stand, but staff should be overseeing such things). Mid-day meal was a skimpy sandwich... usually the lunch meal is the main meal of the day in most ALF's. My loved one was truly miserable here, but did not stay that long as he ended up in the hospital and passed. I would recommend looking at a place that offers a better quality of life if it is within your budget.

Greatest find in Cape Coral. If you want your loved one to be cared for like you would yourself at home. this is the place. Excellent professional medical care with a warm loving heart that makes life in this community really feel like home. They go the extra mile to make their residents happy.
