Two CNAs are there 24/7, and they take excellent care of the patients. What attracted me the most was the cleanliness of the place and the full attention that everybody gets all the way around: health wise, mentally, and activities. It has been very good so far. The residents have their own private rooms. They have a beautician that comes in. They had entertainment that came in on Saturday for an hour. My sister-in-law is in Marilin ALF, and it is super good. It is a very small, single family home. It only has six residents in total. Two CNAs are there 24/7, and they take excellent care of the patients. What attracted me the most was the cleanliness of the place and the full attention that everybody gets all the way around: health wise, mentally, and activities. It has been very good so far. The residents have their own private rooms. They have a beautician that comes in. They had entertainment that came in on Saturday for an hour. They have homecooked meals every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place is immaculate, has great lighting, and is very, very clean. Beds are made for them. Everything's on point. They're showered every day. It's like being home. They do the basics, like magazines and puzzles. Some of them are not completely mentally all there, so it's hard for them to do other stuff. From what I see, they keep them entertained as much as possible during the day. They try to reinforce the importance of staying as a group and not in their rooms by themselves. They try to congregate them in a place and keep them busy.
My mother lived at this ALF for one year before she passed away. They took great care of her until her final days. The place always smelled clean, the meals were home cooked, and the rooms were private. The owner is on top of her staff to make sure everything is perfect. I can not speak of the activities because my mother could not participate in any.
This facility is great for my mom. She is Spanish speaking and they accommodate thAt. She has dimentia and they take care of all her day to day needs. And with a smile and humor that makes her laugh they clean with great care daily. Day baths and clean clothes. Fresh veggies home mad soups and nutritious snacks. I cannot say enough of this place thank god As to activities my mom does not participate due to her condition but bingo eer uses dancing are activities. Sometimes musician comes in for concert and church comes In for communion
