About this community

Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, Florida, provides inpatient nursing and rehabilitation through short-term, respite, and long-term arrangements. The center describes post-hospital care, temporary respite stays, and permanent residential care. Private and semi-private rooms are available, and a dining room is listed among the amenities. The center’s contact page lists its hours as 24/7, though it does not give schedules for individual therapies or activities.

For short-term post-hospital care, people admitted to a hospital for at least three nights may have the option of staying at the center. The described service includes 24-hour nursing and physical, occupational, and speech therapy, available up to seven days per week. The three-night threshold applies to this post-hospital option; the website does not state a typical length for these stays or an individual therapy schedule.

Respite is another inpatient option, with stays described as lasting from a few days to several months. Long-term residential care is presented as permanent inpatient care. The center says people may be admitted for long-term care from a hospital, an assisted living facility, or home, with an admission order from their primary physician. These details distinguish respite from permanent placement and identify the stated physician-order requirement for long-term admission.

A post-COVID-19 recovery program is described for people who had COVID-19, required hospitalization, and are in the recovery phase. Nursing and rehabilitation support are part of the program description, which says the aim is to help people return to their prior level of function without specifying or guaranteeing an outcome. Specialty clinical programs are described as an area of ongoing development, not as a fixed list of available specialties. In some cases, staff may receive additional training on specialized equipment and treatment programs; the website does not name particular specialties, devices, or protocols.

Listed therapy resources include a rehabilitation gym, therapy equipment, and practical props for occupational therapy. The center does not specify particular devices or exercises. Its website also describes indoor activities as available during an extreme-heat advisory. A notice said outdoor resident areas were temporarily closed during the advisory, with extra hydration measures in place and outdoor spaces to reopen when safe.

The heat notice describes a temporary weather precaution rather than a permanent restriction on outdoor areas. Marianna’s city directory lists staff roles for food service, activities, social services, and housekeeping and laundry, but does not describe their schedules or the scope of those functions. The published details therefore cover several inpatient care durations, the nursing and therapy included in short-term recovery, room choices, and features of the therapy setting and daily environment.

We have been so pleased with the services that my father in law has received at this facility. The nursing staff goes above and beyond to not only ensure the patient is comfortable, but family members that visit as well. Everyone has been very accommodating to us. The facility cleanliness is top notch compared to other places we have been and the curb appeal is great as well. We highly recommended Marianna Health and Rehab for any immediate or long term care.

We had entered my husband's mom into Another Facility In PCB that totally neglected her and we had to pull her out within 3 months time as she had half a dozen ambulance rides to emergency rooms for falls bruises and broken bones and was neglected. The staff are amazing with mom every day! This was the hardest decision to make, and Marianna Health & Rehab has made this the greatest experience for mom and it’s truly been a blessing.

My husband and I went to visit his aunt who turned 101 years old this October. He had not seen her since he was a young man. She vaguely remembered him but did remember his mom who was her baby sister. The staff was nice and friendly, her room was clean. Happy Birthday Auntie!

Very nice facility.. clean and the staff was very friendly

My mom was sent there after breaking her hip. She had covid in the hospital, so she was put on the covid ward. I could always call and they would take her the phone to talk to me. When i was able to see her (her 3rd day there) i see her, she is unable to speak, only noises would come out. Told them something is definitely wrong. They send her to the hospital, she has covid pneumonia, her oxygen was in the 70's, she was hypoxic. If I had not gone to see her that day, she probably would not be here. So needless to say, when she got out of the hospital, she did NOT go back there.

Staff cares for your family members like their own. Some of the best CNAs out there .

Great staff and very clean
