About this community

Madison Pointe Care Center is a skilled care and rehabilitation facility in New Port Richey, Florida. The facility’s official website uses the name Madison Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center, while its footer and social page use Madison Pointe Care Center; the available information does not establish whether this reflects a formal name change. The center is in Pasco County near local hospitals, and facility information reports 119 certified beds. Its own website describes skilled care and rehabilitation as its focus.

The care information describes individualized planning: doctors and therapists develop care plans based on each resident’s needs and goals. Physical therapy is listed to help residents regain mobility and strength through customized exercise programs shaped around recovery goals. The website does not give a therapy schedule or say whether exercises are provided individually or in groups, and it does not describe particular equipment or progress measures. It does not outline a single standard program.

Other listed clinical services address distinct needs. Respiratory therapy is intended for people with breathing difficulties and is described in terms of lung function and respiratory health. Wound care is identified as another area of the center’s services, though no treatment methods or wound types are specified. Palliative care focuses on relieving symptoms and stress associated with serious illness, with comfort and quality of life as its stated priorities. The website notes the center’s proximity to local hospitals, but does not describe a particular hospital arrangement.

Separate facility information also lists memory care and respite care alongside skilled nursing and rehabilitation. The center’s own website does not explain these options, so the available material does not detail what memory support includes or how respite stays are arranged. It also does not say whether memory care is provided in a separate unit or specify respite-stay lengths. There is no information about room types, apartment layouts, or distinct residential configurations. The facility is described more clearly in relation to skilled care and rehabilitation than to specific living arrangements.

A separate amenities listing names a dining room, lounge, library or reading room, and art classes, as well as television, air conditioning, and transportation. It does not explain meal schedules or menus, transportation destinations or availability, or whether art classes follow a regular calendar. Another facility listing mentions landscaped gardens and outdoor areas but does not describe their layout or resident access. Together, these listings offer a limited picture of shared spaces and practical features, without a detailed activities schedule or clarification of which features are available to which residents.

The care given from Madison Point is awesome. Staff, Nurses, Therapists, Food Service Employees and Concierge are very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. It’s a sheer pleasure to deal with them all.

Great staff and amazing help from everyone who works there. Nurses and CNA are very helpful especially Yisel she is the best nurse and she was very compassionate and always had good customer service with a smile.

My stepson is in hospice there with very little time left due to cancer. Friends brought in pictures and items from his home so he would see familiar things and THEY WERE STOLEN IMMEDIATELY and of course staff denies everything. Police report needs done and they should have cameras, about all do.

Day crew seems to be great BUT the night crew not so much. Pushed nurse button and no one came, 27 mins later I had to go find someone. I helped my mom in the bathroom and needed supplies so I pushed the button for nurse. I couldn't have her sit in the potty for that long so I tried it get her to bed and almost dropped her on the floor. This is the reason she's there because I cannot physically help her. If they would of come in I would of had help. A bunch of staff sitting at the nurses station doing nothing while we need help. The building is very hot so I had to bring in a fan. Not happy with this place. Will be looking for a new location next surgery. I know they have other people to take care of but this is my mom and we needed help.

My mom is there and has been for about 2 years. It’s always hard to know that your loved one is going to have to live in a facility. Well , she is 88. She has had a little memory problem. Also she has arthritis. When we put her in there we thought it would be something she would object to. But she loves it there! I go visit and every time I go she is either getting her nails done by a volunteer, playing bingo, playing trivia, in Bible study. The staff is always sweet to her. I asked her if she wanted to try a different place and she said NO! They are good to me. I also sit with her at lunch a lot. The food is always good looking and it’s always way more than she can eat. She had a few health issues ..they were on it! I’m happy and grateful. I would not ever exaggerate a review to mislead someone. Especially with the health and happiness of a human. All the staff has been very nice. And again..SHE loves it there. Oh yes and they have parties with music on holidays. People come in and play music. All kinds of fun.

Madison Point has been my home for almost 3 years. I arrived in an honestly, horrible physical and mental state. I could barely move, recently gained over 100 lbs. due to immobility, and in a bipolar state. From day one, the staff attentively attended to my every need 24/7. They made me feel like a loved family member, not as a required part of their "job". I feel guilty to heep praise on only specific aids, or employees, as EVERYONE I've dealt with, in every circumstance, good or bad, acted in a professional, consistently caring manner. O. K. extra credit, in no specific order..Lola, Al, Nicky, Ashley, Kim, Janice(my favorite "Cat Lady").Thank you, Leslie, for automatically bringing me coffee promptly at 4:00 PM every day. Appreciation and respect to Debbie, for bringing me a Menorah on Chanukah, so I don't feel as alienated during the Christmas season. Viv, Jean and Deidre attend to my medicinal needs, even going the extra mile to search me out, if I am not in my room! For further emergencies, transport is immediately available to outside doctors, and the hospital is right across the street. Podiatry, vision, x-ray, and dental services, are included in house, or promptly arranged elseware. The physical therapy team is A1! Thanks to their unbelievable talents, patience, and caring, I went from practically a "mummy" in a wheelchair, to fully mobile, using only a walker. In my room, I am able to walk unaided to the bathroom or closet. I also have lost 60 lbs. Raquel, Kenny, Stacie, and all the PT crew have worked hard, listened to my complaining, and pushed me to achieve positive results. I am now more confident in my physical appearance. I'm again applying make up, wearing nice clothing, and feeling comfortable with myself, overall. You guys rock! Thanks, Kelly PT head, for your assistance in answering my questions as needed. My gratitude to the cleaning staff, especially "D". She keeps my room and bathroom spotless on a daily basis. The overall attention to sanitary upkeep and maintenance in this facility is top notch! The only negative points I have is with the food service. For whatever reason, budget or lack of professional culinary skill or knowledge, the entire menu needs to be reevaluated. Not everyone here has the same dietary requirements, needs or likes. In reality, some residents are unable to communicate their preferences at all. Most of the food is over or undercooked, inconsistent in quality, repetitious, and just unappetizing. On my food slip, it states what I will not, or cannot eat. It is oftentimes ignored, and if I was not of sound mind, I could possible ingest food that would cause internal complications. My usual diet also has religious bans and restrictions, which the staff could not understand unless taught. My boyfriend spends his own money to bring me daily, acceptable foods and fruits. The only problem is, some require refrigeration. As I am not allowed to have a small, personal fridge or coffee maker in my room, I make use of the staff's. However, after 3 days, the chilled items are removed and disposed of. My #1 and only disatisfaction and gripe, is dietary related. In conclusion, I want to express my undying gratitude to all and everyone, who make Madison Point not just a place for rehabilitation and/or long term assisted residency, but somewhere I feel is a true home. A place that everyone really cares because they "WANT TO", not because it is what they are expected to do. If I left off any names in regards to appreciation, it was unintentional. You know who you are. I give my full, hardy, recommendation to anyone considering a residency here for services, either for oneself, or a friend or family member. I've been in a "fancier" establishment prior to this, but a "classy" building itself, cannot provide the type of awesome caring and service one receives from the hardworking, loving, intuitive, professional family of employees, that I have had the honor to be personally taken care of. Thanks are not enough. You saved my sanity, and my life. I'm in your debt forever.

My mom was recently at madison point for over a month and I cannot tell you how happy I am with how it went. The place is always clean and I did not come across one mean person.Everybody is very helpful and friendly. My mom is not one to exercise and she loved going to therapy, Because all the therapists are great. If you're considering going here, do it, you will not be disappointed. We actually did a walk through before we went. And were very pleased, don't hesitate to do a walk through anywhere. You decide to send your loved one

My uncle has been at Madison Pointe for about a year now. He has no family near him, we are all in PA. The staff at Madison Pointe has been so helpful keeping us up to date. If I have any questions someone usually gets back to me within a day. My uncle says everyone is very good to him there. He is 95 and can not take care of himself any longer. Courtney was a big help with the medical insurance and helping him to get on Medicaid. Everyone that I have spoken to is very nice and willing to help in any way possible. Thank you to the staff!
