The best thing I can say about this place is that it did not smell bad. It is cramped, dark and dreary. There are 3 hospice patients in bed and 2 ambulatory, though one of those was in a wheelchair and only one aide. There didn't seem to be any activities available, just tv. When the woman in the wheelchair started to doze off, the aide snapped her fingers in the woman's ear startling her, so the side did it again and laughed. If she does this in front of a visitor, what does she do when no one is there?

I toured this facility looking for a place for my mother who was 91. The facility had a beautiful garden which my mother would sit and help with planting and watering. She always loved gardening. It is an intimate atmosphere which was valuable for us because my mother was reluctant about needing help and wanted to remain independent--but would fall from time to time (taking out her clothes daily, etc.).
