Inspired Living Ocoee

These Photos Are Real. Inspired Living sent my father to the ER with pneumonia and sepsis, and he never went back there. Later, I took these photos in his room when I removed his belongings. I had to discard almost everything. Photo #1 shows one arm of the chair where he spent most of his waking hours. Photo #2 shows books on an end table. I took almost 50 similar photos of mold on his clothing, furniture, planters, books, carpet, cabinets, motorized chair, and more. Inspired Living continued to send me monthly bills for his rent until 11 months after he left. Personally, I liked the staff. But knowing what I know now, I wish we had not moved my father there.

We just moved our 86 year old mom into Inspired Living (Ocoee) after several months in the hospital where the family had to move her out of her apartment and into assisted living, which was tough for mom. However, EVERYONE we've interacted with from Marlene and John in the business side, to the front desk folks, Nurse Pat, and all of the staff around the facility while moving in, have all been fantastic to work with. They were unbelievably flexible with the move in date, very understanding of our situation, and most importantly, they returned every phone call, text and email promptly. So far, I can't say anything but great things about them with our experience. My mom feels so welcomed by the staff and seems to really love the place with the amenities and the GREAT food. Thank you team!

This place has completely fallen apart. What used to be a respectable community now feels like a run-down shack with no direction and no accountability. The care has declined significantly, staff attitudes are unprofessional, and management turnover is constant. There is zero stability, and it shows in every aspect of the building. Ever since the former Indian wellness director the entire place has gone downhill. There’s no leadership presence, no consistency, and no sense that anyone is truly in control. Families are left feeling confused and frustrated because no one seems to know what’s going on from one week to the next. The Executive Director even addressed my grandmother by the wrong name, which is beyond embarrassing in a senior living community. If leadership can’t get something that basic right, it raises serious concerns about the level of attention residents are actually receiving. The state has already been in the building, and yet nothing seems to improve. I’ve left reviews before and somehow they disappear, which only adds to the lack of transparency. At this point, it’s hard to recommend this community to anyone. It’s disappointing to watch something that used to be good deteriorate this badly.
