My mother had been living independently at Freedom Plaza for 11 years when I began to realize it was time to move her to the next level of care. I reached out to a staff member at Freedom Plaza with questions and concerns, and she introduced me to Traci Taylor, the Sales and Marketing Manager for Freedom Plaza Assisted Living and Memory Care. I was completely stressed about if I was making the right decision, and concerned how to make it happen, but Traci made everything so much easier. She walked me through the entire process with so much patience and compassion, not just for me, but for my mother as well. She answered all my questions and connected me with other people who could help with the many different pieces of the transition. When I was overwhelmed and just needed to vent, she listened. What I had thought would be complete chaos ended up being completely manageable. My mother has now been living at The Inn at Plaza West for a month, and I can't say enough good things about the people there. The staff has been incredibly kind and patient as she has adjusted to such a big change in her life. They have taken the time to get to know her and help her feel comfortable in her new home. Traci's care didn't end once my mother moved in. A month later, she still reaches out to check on both of us and make sure everything is going well. My mother chose Freedom Plaza 11 years ago partly because she knew that if the day came when she needed more care, the transition would be easier. She was right. I will always be grateful to Traci and everyone at Freedom Plaza for making one of the hardest transitions of our lives so much easier.
