Heritage Healthcare Center at Tallahassee

Everyone is so helpful, nice and compassionate. Room is clean and kept cleam daily. Physical therapy has been wonderful in my recovery. Administrative staff has also been outstanding.

It was very refreshing to see compassion at work. Not just there too do the job. Not treating individual’s like a peace of meat to toss and manhandle as if there not human . I was thoroughly impressed by the compassion the service the willing to assist here at heritage you must understand I came to a nursing home with preconceived notions of what they were like back in the day it was so wonderful to see that everybody here from the case managers to the RNs to the PCA and even the kitchen help it’s like a big family and it is welcome to read so yes I would refer anyone. And on top of that the nurse practitioner Mr. Ward came to see us Saturday afternoon. Unlike the nurse at TMH who told me at 9:30 they were coming at 12:30. Did not seen any medical report. It’s important for health care providers to do there job with 💕 love. Heritage should have on their nameplate over their door the heritage of love means something’s.

The worse place for a nursing home. They don't take care of patients there. They let my mom lay in her body waste all days and nights until someone came to visit her. I keep kick myself for letting her spend her last days there. Health Department needs SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!

The only reason this facility is receiving this one star is because I HAD to, in order to write this review! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN! My sweet grandma was in this place for rehab due to her having Covid , pneumonia, several strokes that ended up with her being in a coma. She was sick!! Had a trach & all! Although we looked at the reviews online, as a family we decided that this wasn’t long term, my grandma can get the care she needs and be home soon! Worst mistake ever! This place is the worst! When I visited, we weren’t properly greeted, the staff wasn’t wearing name tags so you couldn’t identify who they were, if we needed help it took forever for someone to come! We do know that our grandma wasn’t the only patient there & didn’t expect to be waited on hand and foot but at least express that you’re glad to be employed & glad to help care for sick people who can’t help themselves! There were 2 ladies that were helpful & didn’t mind helping when needed! My grandma mentioned to the family several times that the girls there were mean, they snatched the call light from her & even rolled their eyes at her! Not to mention she fell there, wasn’t taken to the ER to be examined, didn’t have X-rays or nothing but complained of butt pain! When my mom called to this facility to speak with anyone in charge she held on for over 10 minutes! There’s a BUNCH of unprofessional people at this facility & I wouldn’t recommend this place for no one to take a loved one! We removed our grandma and took her to a place where they are very informative, they show compassion, & they are very concerned! We’re allowed to visit & our loved one has started getting the therapy she needs and she just looks and feels much better! No complaints at all after we removed her from this facility!

The rehab portion of the facility hasoial working competent caring people. Most times the social worker did their best. I do not believe they had much real support. My experience of the long term term portion of the facility is most of the cna are either lazy and or untrained.. No one takes responsibility of any errors. Most of the staff do not care about the residents there. I will always feel guilt checking my father into this place. I feel the same way about his doctor and the doctors assistant who is totally full of him self. USELESS and UNCARING. Remember Heritage someday this will be your family member I
