I placed my father here last week and he absolutely loves it if I could give it 10 stars I would.
The staff has been incredibly kind and attentive. The nurses are doing an amazing job taking care of my father, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such capable hands. I also like the facility creates a homey atmosphere. It does not feels cold or clinical. it feels warm and welcoming. Every time I visit, my father looks happy and comfortable. It’s clear that the staff cares about my father. This facility is also affordable compared to others I looked at. It fits well within our budget. Last week I moved my husband from this facility. The aides are horrible. They yell at the residents. They do not like when family members come every day to visit. Every few weeks they would shut the thermostat to the ac so that the temperature in my husband’s room was 80 degrees. He had bruises on his nose and left hand. The aides would not tell me what happened. The residents were medicated and stayed in their rooms. The aides were happy to have the residents sleep all day. The aides are mean, nasty, lazy and no compassion. They would not answer any of my questions. It came to a point where even the owner would not return my calls. All I wanted to know is how my husband is doing. One of the aides was not allowed to go near my husband due to her actions. Do not put your loved ones in this place. This attitude from the aides started the first day I dropped my husband off and got worse and worse until I was forced to move him. I was getting high blood pressure from aggravation. My blood pressure is always low.
Beautiful facility and great staff. My loved one has been here for years. We've always been treated like family!
My mom was there for a month before she passed away. Nice facility. Excellent care. Havencrest Management does not follow up with requests from insurance company so claims are not being paid. If you are a private pay or your insurance company does not require documentation, this is the place to go.
