Things run pretty smoothly during the daytime but evenings are a whole different story. There is only one attendant per floor in the assisted living section. These women are clearly overworked. They have to distribute medicine and put those residents to bed who can't do it themselves and also attend to the people who press their emergency button. It can take up to an hour for them to respond to emergencies. What the place needs is a third attendant who is not charged with distributing medicine and can answer the calls for help and put people to bed. For the amount of money paid to stay here…

HarborChase is a beautiful Community especially their memory care. I had the pleasure of touring with Zully the director of sales who was so kind and understanding. She took her time and answered all my questions and went over the different types of activities they provide to the residents. I'm planning on moving to Florida with my mom who will need a Memory Care and I know that this Community will be the place were my family and I would want mom to be in. We got to meet a lot of the staff members and residents during the tour. The memory care was so bright and inviting. Thank you Zully and staff for being so welcoming. We will definitely see you in again!
Beautiful building with great amenities for your loved ones. The care staff shows how much they love their jobs just by the care they provide for your loved ones. The management team truly cares about every aspect of the residents day to day living and really try to enhance their live with fun activities and engagement. Would definitely recommend this facility for assisted living and memory care.
Harbor Chase was one of 2 memory care communities I was considering for my husband. Zully was beyond knowledgeable, and comforting as I struggled with this worst decision of my life. I chose another community, although it could easily have been a coin-toss decision. Zully was most understanding and has offered to keep in touch in case I need to re-evaluate my decision. Wish i could offer more info on the memory care itself, but… Still - I would say that as of July 2025, Harbor Chase should definitely be at the top of MC communities you’ll want to consider.
We visited HarborChase of Villages Crossing. I was very happy with it. They were working very hard to find the right room for my father. They seemed to offer a fair number of activities. It was a good layout, and I thought the price was fair. I only met a few people, and they were very nice. I thought it was very grand and kind of overdone. The ceilings were very high. It was just a little over the top, which would have been fine, but I felt like they could have used it for more activity rooms and things like that. As for the food, they had a lot of grab-and-go, and they made things to order, that kind of thing.
A friend of mine lives at HarborChase of Villages Crossing. It is very nice, but it is more expensive. The staff members seem very friendly. We had lunch there, and it was very good. Then we went back to her apartment. It was more expensive than the ones down in Sun City, but it was very nice. Her husband needs more care, and she is there to help him, so they have assisted living. The people are very helpful, very friendly, and very nice to everybody.
