It was fine when my wife was moved in but after they changed ownership it deteriorated rapidly, puddles on the floor, brown droppings as well on daily basis. Foul smelling hallways, floors sticky & dirty. Personal items going missing routinely. It seemed severely understaffed considering the price paid for service. They were quick to bill, but slow to reimburse - and short changed the amount & # of days they refunded even after the mandatory 30 days notice we gave to vacate. Shorted us some $500+. Consider well before placing your loved ones in this facility. It…

They were quick to bill, but slow to reimburse - and short changed the amount & # of days they refunded even after the mandatory 30 days notice we gave to vacate. Shorted us some $500+. Consider well before placing your loved ones in this facility. It seems they are more interested in the $$'s than providing a clean lace to stay. The insect problem became untenable. It seems much of the good staff has left too. These concerns were brought to management's attention but improvement was not forthcoming. So we moved to a much nicer place, better care, more staff & cleaner place. It's is less expensive too. I hope they get their act together for the sake of the old folks who do not have much choice in the matter. TJ
When we first moved my mom here it was a fabulous facility. Since the owner has changed recently so has the attention to detail. Cleaning rating last year 5 stars, now maybe a 3. Roaches in her room, dirt under the furniture, food not acceptable. Last year the hallways cleaned regularly all day. Not seen anyone in the hallway mopping for around 2-3 months. We were looking to move mom when she passed. Now the accounting folks can’t seem to do their job. Mom hasn’t been there since the middle of last month and just was debited this months fee for February.

I was very pleased. It was very friendly and very bright. It wasn't dingy; it wasn't dark. The rooms were very nice and very comfortable. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly. They have a bulletin board that shows all of their activities. They have crafts and church. It wasn't just Christian church, they had several different types of churches. William is a Christian man, so that was important to me for him to be able to continue his faith, and he could worship in his faith. During the tour, they took all the time I needed. I didn't feel rushed. I could ask questions, and I could look at the facilities. I liked that. I saw their dining hall, but I didn't try their food. Overall, it met everything I wanted for my friend. It had a homey flare to it, and I liked that too.

I have entertained all over the country and had the WORST experience at this community! The show was booked and confirmed and when we arrived we were canceled and treated rudely but the Actvities Director and management! I would tell other entertainers not to consider this community! Sadly because it’s not the residents fault it’s the staff!! Very very bad!
If you want 5 stars, do not delete the comments because you do not want other people to read it, even in that place there is discrimination against patients who speak Spanish, they do not say it because it is not convenient for them and the secretary takes her time writing on the miserable pay. I went to Hampton Manor. I liked their pricing structure. It was all one package deal that you paid. And you didn't have to pay extra for any care or anything. It's all-inclusive. It's an older place, but you would not know it by walking through. It was very well-maintained. It had one of the nicer courtyards of all of the places I visited, and I saw some of the activities going on, and everybody seemed to be happy.
My mother lives here and this place is wonderful! I do not speak lightly, being a nurse practitioner and working in all levels of healthcare for 15 years. The staff are friendly, everything is clean, and the residents are well cared for and treated with individual dignity and kindness. My mother was at another facility for almost double the cost, but it was not nearly this good. Speaking for my entire family, we are truly grateful!!
My father was recently under the care of Hampton Manor 24th Road. Danielle and Nora were exceptional at assessing and caring for my father under some challenging circumstances. This is a hard time for a family and I felt like the team at Hampton manor were not only providing care for my father, but also educating and supporting me as well. I am grateful to have found the skilled and capable team at Hampton Manor.
