Frances Ransom Adult Family Care Home

My mother has been at Frances Ransom’s Care Home since 9/2024. She was previously in a large, corporate run facility. At 99 she is still mobile with her walker. She was not going to the dining room for meals and they were not being delivered to her. She had lost over 10 pounds and was sleeping all day. At Frances residential facility she is awake all day, the meals are home cooked and she has gained her weight back. Her room is lovely and she is engaged with other residents and very happy there. I highly recommend this care facility.

My mother has lived at Frances Ransom’s Adult Family Care Home since September 21, 2024. Previously she was in a corporate assisted living facility. She was staying in bed all day, only going to the dining room for soup and ice cream. When she didn’t leave her room, no one checked on her. Since she has been at Frances’ home, she has gained two pounds. She eats three home cooked meals every day. This home is amazing! My mother gets up everyday and interacts with other residents and the caretakers. She no longer spends her days in bed, but now is in the living room with everyone else. She is treated like an elderly grandmother and she loves it there. I wish I’d found Frances months before! This is a wonderful, caring, professional home.

My mother has been staying with Frances and her family. They are very loving, supportive and treat my mother as one of there own. I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for temporary or long term care. They encourage residents to participate in outings and activities. We are truly blessed to have our mother in a safe loving home who have become a part of our family.

Our loved one became a resident here this year. I’m so happy and relieved! Mom has mobility issues and memory issues. The prior larger memory care facility did not have enough staffing for her special needs. At Frances Ransom Adult Family Care Home, we know that our Mom is getting the attention she needs, lots of interaction, they help us keep in touch & feel connected. The food is fabulous, bright colors, it’s beautiful and comfortable indoors and out. They take the residents on field trips and the care feels like family … because they HAVE become our extended family.

Our Mom is currently a lucky & happy resident. We are SO HAPPY for the care and attention she receives there. Previously, our Mom was at a large community memory care center and suffered many falls. Anyone who is a fall risk should be in a small care home with a high ratio of care. Having our Mom here has taken a HUGE worry off my mind! The home is stylish, colorful and wildly comfortable. They have a beautiful porch, take the residents on field trips. LOVE!!
