Fountain Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center

I have visited this center several times and every time I am here the staff are amazing, kind and very attentative. They have done some beautiful renovations recently to enhance the resident enjoyment and comfort. I recommend this facility for highly skilled clinical services as well as long term care needs.

On February 25, 2026, my grandmother who is recovering from foot surgery and has limited mobility, was the victim of a serious safety incident at your facility. An unauthorized male patient entered her room without permission, grabbed her phone, struck her forcefully on the head, and attempted to jump on her. Due to her condition, she was unable to defend herself and was forced to yell for help before the assault stopped. Law enforcement was contacted and a report was filed. This incident has left my grandmother distraught, fearful, and deeply concerned about the facility’s failure to maintain adequate supervision and ensure patient safety. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD !!!!!!! HORRIBLE

My Mom entered Fountain Manor pretty much a mess after months of having mix ups in medications at other facilities, hospitals, etc. Lately, I hadn't done much research on nursing homes, because honestly, I was worn out from having spent years in the nursing home fray with my Aunt and other relatives. I took a gamble and chose Fountain Manor, anticipating that my Aunt (1 year apart) would need to enter a long term facility with dialysis services. They have great reviews in the Medicare /Nursing home website, but you never know the truth until you're actually there. It took a while for my Mom, but I can say that right now, she's clear, free from a UTI, and she's the happiest I've ever seen her in 2 years, despite her specific circumstances. My Aunt who is tough as nails and has been sick for many more years, finally entered the facility not too long ago as well. I thought for sure she would have asked me to remove her from there and find another facility. However, she is also the clearest of mind I have seen in 3 years (meaning free from UTI), and has told my Mom that so far, this is the best home she's been in (and she's been in quite a few in Dade and Broward counties). The staff seem to care, not only for the job they're supposed to do, but for the emotional well being of the patients. Obviously every place has bad employees, but for the most part, they have a good handle on the pamper change schedule (both my Mom and Aunt are bedridden), so important, the medication schedule, the meals, etc. I work day and night, so it's very comforting to know that they are in good hands and that I don't have to worry about whether my poor Mom is eating, because it's difficult for her to hold utensils in her shaky hands. They encourage her to try to get out of bed, even if she really can't, same with my Aunt. All in all, and knock on wood, this was a good choice. Thank you Fountain Manor.

I can’t say enough about the kind and professional staff at Fountain Manor. Their attentive nature and amazing Rehab Team made such a big impact. The Nursing Team delivers quality care to loved ones and the Administrative staff were true gems, always helpful and thoughtful. Thank you for all you do!
