3.2 · 14 reviewsWhat an amazing facility! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and welcoming words from the office staff. The facility itself is clean, and well maintained. The staff is caring and always willing to lend a helping hand to residents.
Eastside Active Living, LLC (Formerly Oceanside Senior Living) was all right, but the atmosphere was a little too old for me. The staff member was good, informative, and explained what my options were. Some people were active and some were sitting in their wheelchairs and sitting outside. The rooms were adequate and clean. It's good for elderly people who need either independent or assisted living. They watch over them very well. It's a safe community, and it's in a pretty decent area.
We chose Eastside Active Living for my sister. I like it. The staff is very nice, and my sister loves the food. Shes getting along with everybody. Its old, but its fine, and were happy. They have a bus and everything you can think of, but she doesnt participate. The price is reasonable, but Id rather it be cheaper.

The people at Eastside Active Living are very pleasant. The place is very clean and within my price range. They have a lot of activities and serve three meals a day. The food is OK. It is a very nice place that is well managed.
I never even made it to the tour of this community because the lack of accommodations this place does. I work throughout the week so I needed to see it on Saturday and the staff had told me they do not do tours on the weekend. I also thought the staff where very [Removed] and rude to speak with and I was not happy about that. They really need to improve on there customer service.
It is a very nice older establishment. The staff is friendly and they take very good care of my aunt. The food looks good and there are activities for the residents if they wish to participate. They could use more support staff to make the place more hospitable and help maintain the upkeep of the outside of the community. There are areas outside on patios to relax. She likes her room, it is very homey. They provide refreshments and snacks for residents and families who visit.
Totally unprofessional. Do not put your loved ones here! So many problems. The food is horrible. They don't respond when you have issues to repair anything in apt. I called several times to speak to the owner [Removed]. He would never return my phone calls. [Removed] at the front desk it's both uneducated and inexperienced in dealing with the elderly. There is no compassion here! [Removed]. They're only interested in making money.
We have lived at Eastside for 4 years now, and my husband and I liked it. The place is really large and spread out. We do not have the meal plan, I prepared all our meals, and the staff was very nice and very helpful. They don’t have many activities.
