East Ridge Retirement Village a CCRC

El establecimiento es un lugar tranquilo para las personas mayores y un excelente centro de rehabilitación. Sin embargo, la comida y la atención del personal del piso dejan mucho que desear. La colaboración con las personas en recuperación es deficiente, ya que pasan horas sin que nadie se acerque a sus habitaciones, incluso cuando llaman a la enfermera para hacer sus necesidades. El centro radiológico malo con horarios de madrugada no puede ser que el paciente esté todo el día disponible y le saquen una placa a altas horas de la madrugada Además, las llamadas mediante el botón al lado del paciente, acompañado por una luz en la puerta de la habitación, a menudo no son respondidas rápidamente, dejando el sonido de la llamada por mucho tiempo sin atención. En mi modesta opinión, hay una falta evidente de personal. A pesar de esto, el poco personal que tiene el establecimiento es muy amable y cordial con los pacientes. Corrijan estos y algunos determinados problemas que tienen y serán un establecimiento considerado con 5 estrellas.

So very disappointed!! Do not be fooled by the beautiful surroundings. This place is set up to encourage bed sores? My mother got 2 bedsores there. The mattresses are very thin and hard. The the Staff said they could not provide or order an egg crate, foam mattress, cover. We had to buy our own and bring it into my mother. We tried for several days to request them to order an air mattress, but they said it was not possible. Once my mother had 2 bedsores, it suddenly became possible which was much too late. The staff is poorly trained in skin, care management, and continually made excuses for the poor nursing care that allowed the skin breakdown. Same thing with the wheelchairs. There is not a single wheelchair cushion anywhere on the floor. We had to buy our own and bring it from home. There are elderly people sitting in wheelchairs with no cushions. This is an invitation for skin breakdown. The food was very, very mediocre.

I am beyond grateful for the the nursing staff and administration at East Ridge. My dad was a patient at East Ridge, first for the rehab facility. Amazing team! they pushed my dad to do therapy. Very sweet team that took their time and accommodated to my dad's impairments to assess the therapy. Unfortunately my father has a terminal illness and did not improve with the program but not because East Ridge efforts. My father was then placed in hospice (as recommended by his specialist) at this facility. They took extraordinary care of him. Not one time did I find my father dirty or not fed. Everyday I received a report from the nurses on his well being. They all treated my father with love. Admin helped with the Dr's appointment scheduling, hospice process, I did not have to worry about paperwork, only care of my dad. Sometimes we as family get frustrated and want everything to be resolved "yesterday", but please remember that is not only one patient they take care of and we all wish to receive the same attention. Also the food is not bad. This place always smelled nice and was clean. Their patients looked happy doing activities. I am the only family member that was helping in the care of my father, could not have done it without the help of East Ridge. If I could the rating would be 10 Stars
