Chateau Madeleine

I toured Chateau Madeleine in February of 2025 and it was the first time I left a place really thinking that my mom could be happy there. I was planning on a move for her in 6-12 months but due to unexpected circumstances, I had to get her moved in just a few weeks. Lisa helped me get her settled within just a few days after I reached out for help. Moving a family member into memory care is a very difficult and emotional experience but I could not be more pleased with how it worked out. My mom is well cared for and stays busy with the different activities they arrange for the residents daily. The care givers really get to know and bond with the residents. Most of them know that if the residents believe or feel something that may not be true, they don't try to correct them or tell them they are wrong. They redirect them and give them positive attention to try to settle them down. Is it always perfect? No, but what place could be? The facility is clean and well maintained and the majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful. The residents are rarely in their rooms unattended as they are encouraged to be out in the common area where the meals are served and the activities take place. There are always people around, so it doesn't feel lonely. The place has a homey, friendly feeling, as does the staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and in the memory care unit. The activities director is incredible and always positive. My family and I visit regularly, and we are always made to feel welcome. I highly recommend the memory care facility at Chateau Madeleine and am happy that my mom is being well cared for.

As a Senior/Health Care Professional in Brevard, I highly recommend taking a look at Chateau Madeleine for your long term living needs. This is a beautiful community both inside and out. The residents are well cared for, and they will be the first ones to tell you how much they love living there! The Executive Director and all staff are very visible and truly involved in the wellbeing of their residents and families, and the food is fantastic. The Memory Care and Activities staff make sure residents are engaged with the day, and the clinical team keeps the residents safe and moving. Highly recommend!

For 5 years I have visited chateau madeline and always impressed with staff compassion and great food and activities, I would highly reccomend this home to anyone considering a loved one's future home;

I'd like to share my experience with Chateau Madeleine. After spending 3 weeks in the hospital and another 3 weeks in a rehab center, the doctors said my mother would not be able to live alone. To further complicate things, I lived 900 miles away and the doctors said she would not be able to handle a move to another state. A friend recommended Chateau Madeleine. Director Cindy came in on a stormy day off to give me a tour! Every resident I came across was happy, friendly and engaging. The facility was clean and the staff/patient ratio was excellent. The food was amazing and daily activities were fun. Sadly, my mother passed 5 months later, but they were the happiest months in the last year. I will be forever grateful the the wonderful people at Chateau Madeleine.
