Meals are prepared on site by ServSafe-certified staff, and menus are reviewed quarterly by a licensed dietitian. Entrée choices typically include a heart-healthy option and a Southern-style dish; examples in meal descriptions include baked grouper and chicken and dumplings. Sugar-free desserts and mechanically softened alternatives are available, with flavored-water stations in the main lounge and courtyard. Continental breakfast begins at 7 a.m.; restaurant-style lunch is served at noon and supper at 5 p.m. Snacks are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Recreational programming is offered seven days a week. Recent calendars list chair yoga on Mondays, live keyboard music on Wednesdays, courtyard mocktail socials on Fridays and Saturday movie matinees with popcorn. A retired art teacher leads watercolor classes twice monthly, while a raised-bed garden supplies herbs for the kitchen and gives residents opportunities for light gardening. Arranged group outings include Sunken Gardens, Tyrone Square Mall and Sunday services at nearby Crossroads United Methodist Church. Transportation is arranged for group trips. Calendars are posted near the activity room and sent to families weekly.

Shared spaces and services include Wi-Fi, a small library with large-print books donated by the St. Petersburg Public Library system, and a beauty and barber salon open Thursdays. Outside, a fenced patio is landscaped with jasmine and Meyer lemon trees. Housekeeping, personal laundry and flat-linen service are provided weekly. Cable television, upgraded Wi-Fi and personal telephone lines are optional extras. Cats and small dogs weighing up to 20 pounds are permitted with vaccination documentation and a one-time pet fee.
