My grandmother has been in Caring Hands Assisted Living II for a month now, and she is doing wonderfully. I am so pleased with the services and the care that they are giving her. She has dementia, so she is one of those patients that needs round-the-clock care as she can't care for herself. She is also like a child all over, so she thinks the owner there is her mother, and she is just really good and phenomenal with her. I love that place! They have an activity room where they can interact with each other and play games. My grandmother is not one of the people who can partake in those types of activities, because she is like a child, but they bring her baby dolls and toys, so I think they're a great and wonderful staff. I love the owners, too. They are willing to go the extra step to make the family and the patient feel welcome and loved. I don't think I could have found a better place, and I am so comfortable with her being there, too.
Caring hands doctor changed my mother's medication the first day she was there even though they were explicitly asked not to. My mother was re-hospitalized within 10 days. I had to remove her from the home and it took 21 additional days to stabilize her. She almost died. Then when I provided the notice stated in the contract, I was told I would not receive my deposit back even though the contract explicitly states that I would. [Name removed], the owner is not an honest person.
Great place, small, friendly and CLEAN. The people are very caring. They do keep it cold, I think a little too cold for the elderly

My loved one has been having an easy adjustment period to this community. They provide many activities for him, which help him interact with more residents. Meals that are provided are good and there is variety. One of the things that they could improve on would be the communication. It is very hard to communicate with staff from the community.
The communication that i had with the staff was great. My loved one really liked the staff. They were attentive and tried to accommodate his needs. The meals they provided were nutritious and tasty. There were not many activities that my loved one could participate in so, unfortunately we had to move him to a new place.
Home setting with a warm loving environment. The staff here treats the residents like there own family and it shows when you see the happiness and cleanliness of the residents.
This is a small ALF that is very tranquil and clean. The staff members were kind and gracious and spoke highly of the owner's commitment to excellence The residents were well cared for. While the ALF does not offer the "calendar" of events a large facility can, it provides a warm, home atmosphere and personal attention that my Mom needs at this time in her life.
Great people, super clean home really feels like home.
