I was at Camelot for a year and a half. After being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer they told me I had to leave because of an altercation I had with a PA. Ken the manager and I had an agreement that I had until August first. On July 10th, Annette alerted me I had 2 hrs, to pack my thing I was out of there. As a result my things got thrown in trash bags and I was transferred to Hidden Pines. Since the woman in charge of the med staff Haley had spoke to Gina, in charge of Hidden Pine I had no medical treatment. I spent 3days in ICU and 9 more in Advent hospital. I'm now 5hospice care.…

Since the woman in charge of the med staff Haley had spoke to Gina, in charge of Hidden Pine I had no medical treatment. I spent 3days in ICU and 9 more in Advent hospital. I'm now 5hospice care. There is NO EXCUSE for the lack of care. If a person can sit sick in a room for 14 days and nobody from staff can knock on the door. I know my destination
Love the resident engagement at this community. So many of the staff have been here for a long time and make it a great place!
My stepdaughter was in this place for about nine months. Sent to the ER three times. This last trip they admitted her. Her kidneys were at stage 5 failure, glucose level was 38 when taken at the hospital. She was on the assisted living side. She was not properly monitored, meds were late and other issues.
I would not trust this place with my family member. On multiple occasions I have drove by and the same man is across the street, in the street, asking passing vehicles for money, not a staff member in sight. When I called they said they have taken his outside privileges away (awful) the man’s probably trying to get away from there.
I don't know anything about the facility, but I do know they are not able to pay their vendors in a timely manner. I would not want a family member of mine to stay somewhere that cannot manage their finances. Corporate offices do not return messages/most VM boxes are full.
This is the WORST PLACE to place your family member We had our family member placed here for little over a year and it was the WORST EXPERIENCE I would not recommend this place to NO ONE The staff steals from the residence, they serve cold meals when they suppose to hot, don't care about the residence at all
We called Camelot to inquire about care for grandma but they were quite rude on the phone, so we decided to take her someplace else. Not a good first impression. Maybe hire some people who have phone etiquette?
