Brookdale West Palm Beach

I was recently at celebration independent living to the property. I was greeted by the director, Westley Klinger, who was warm and welcoming and rather than launching and do the tour with facts and everything else he took a great deal of time to sit down with me, speak about my mother‘s situation and what we felt her needs were, and what she would want for herself, as well as her current emotional state and physical ability, etc. Celebration is a great property on an incredible piece of land in West Palm Beach, clean, well organized with warm and sincere staff, from my observation. Great size rooms, great restaurant, and great activities for my body and spirit. I would highly highly recommend this independent/assisted living facility to anyone.

If I could give a zero rating review, I would. Celebration Villa took over Brookdale (which I loved) in November 2025. They have been awful. They said there would be no increase or add on to my mom's rent. Then they added $1000 a month which I didn't see until they charged 3 months back rent in February 2026 even though they had ACH set up. In addition, my mom was in the hospital for 2 weeks December 2025 and January 2026 and they still charged for care not received. I have been asking for this breakdown of the $1000 additional fee for months now as it's not stated what it's for. Also, they virtually stopped doing activities aside from bingo so my mom was just sitting in her room. The care was also not good after Celebration Villa took over aside from 2 nurses who loved my mom. On March 30th, 2026, I moved my mom to a new assisted living facility. Still NO answers from Celebration Villa about the bill. In addition, they charged my mom FULL rent for April 2026 (not prorated as agreed upon) and charged the $1000 additional care for April. I have been reaching out for over 3 months now via email and also phone without response from the billing department or the GM. My last email was May 22nd and still no response. I strongly believe this is a form of institutional elder financial exploitation and will be looking into it further. Spare yourself and your family member. RUN don't walk.

This is a great facility! Professional & friendly staff. The residents were happy & content in this welcoming environment. It's worth the effort to check them out! I was impressed & look forward to living there.

To all who are thinking about this place think again, and here why❗️They do not take Medicare or Medicaid at this time. The state of Florida and U.S. Government need to take a good look at the place before giving them the license to state and Government pay the bills? When something seems to be good to you ckeck it before doing it. You might want to check with your lawyer before you sign any paperwork there, always protect your love ones first.

I was induced to move in while this was a Brookdale facility. It transitioned to Celebration Villa, a Priority Life facility as I moved in. They have lied at every opportunity. They promised no rent increase to those of us who financially moved in, in October 2025. They lied and increased the rent by $125 without notification by reaching into my account and taking more that the agreed upon amount thus breaking my budget and causing $150 in overdrawn fees to be charged. As a senior on a fixed income their actions proved another lie by their failure to assist me in the stewardship of my finances. I call it theft, they call it an uncorrected misunderstanding. Their renovated apartment had paint dribbles on the floor, cabinet doors hanging by a screw, dishwasher installed crooked and despite multiple requests I still have no place to hang my toilet paper. Maintenance is haphazard and I am left to do it myself or it won't get done. Management pays lip service to problems and takes no action. They are practicing scorched earth and will no doubt drive the residents out and sell the land to a developer. They have no empathy and ignore the residents at every opportunity. They will take your money, make sweet promises and never deliver. Explosive diarrhea follows every meal and hot food hot and cold food cold food safety is not followed. Move here at risk to your mental and physical as well as financial well being. Their mission statement is a cruel lie.
