A family member has been there 3 years. Started off good, but communication has gone dramatically downhill. Several months ago this family member fell and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. NO call from the facility at all. We found out when this family member called us directly from the emergency room. Also, it took almost 45 minutes for anyone to go to his room after he hit the emergency button while lying on the floor. A family member has been there 3 years. Started off good, but communication has gone dramatically downhill. Several months ago this family member fell and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. NO call from the facility at all. We found out when this family member called us directly from the emergency room. Also, it took almost 45 minutes for anyone to go to his room after he hit the emergency button while lying on the floor. We went back and forth regarding this lack of communication with no satisfying answers, just an apology as an oversite. Next, there were piles of dirt on the floor made by some insects. We requested a clean up and a week later the piles were still there so we emailed pictures of the piles of dirt and it was then they did something. Today we received a text from a pharmacy that a medication was ready for this family member. We then called the prescribing doctor who advised pneumonia diagnosis after xrays were taken. AGAIN NO communication from the facility. Went to office to discuss and was given many excuses... they called 'someone' but could not advise whom. Stories made no sense. This is totally unacceptable. Thank goodness we live very close and can be on top of things. The staff that help with his daily living are very nice.
My in-laws just moved into Brookdale in West Boynton Beach. I couldn’t be more pleased. My in-laws have just settled in so peacefully and the meals are fantastic. The staff is incredible and Connie and Tracy have gone over and beyond to just make my in-laws welcome just such a easy transition for this last years of their life.

The staff and executive leadership are excellent. I am friendly with the sales staff as well as the front desk people. They are ALWAYS helpful. We moved my dad and they made the experience perfect for us. Thank you to the staff and leadership. My special thanks to the sales person on site. BRAVO!!!
Very disappointed. Went to visit my grandma and the front desk staff said she works in the nursing department and doesn’t have answers to my questions. I don’t have time to wait and they never call back. Get some trained staff for the day time at least. This is getting out of hand.
Rosanne the office manager has to be fired. She is rude to everyone. Never has a smile and thinks she owns the place. I can’t wait to move my father out. She’s terrible to the staff and if you have a question she makes it about her.
Dirty unclean
My father's ability to live on his own quickly declined over the past few months with frequent trips to the hospital due to him being a fall risk. While he was in rehab, I was referred to Brookdale by a case manager due to the fact that they have a skilled nursing license. Once it was determined that dad can no longer live on his own, Tracy at Brookdale was able to move quickly to get him a room. Traditionally, my father was a very independent person so I was a little concerned about the transition to a ALF, but the staff at Brookdale has been very friendly, accommodating and understanding to his needs while going through this transition to assisted living. I sleep better now, knowing that he is in good hands at Brookdale.
