I repeated I am inquiring for my parents. I then asked what type of flooring is in the 2 bedroom units. Then she asked me again, where am I calling from. I said why do you keep asking me the same question and she said that me asking what type of flooring is an unusual question for someone to ask. I'm 47 years old and have been in sales for 25 years. This facility needs to reevaluate their sales team. I called at 11:50 am on 3/23/26 to check availability and pricing. She kept asking "where are you calling from honey". I repeated I am inquiring for my parents. I then asked what type of flooring is in the 2 bedroom units. Then she asked me again, where am I calling from. I said why do you keep asking me the same question and she said that me asking what type of flooring is an unusual question for someone to ask. I'm 47 years old and have been in sales for 25 years. She spoke to me disrespectfully like I was a child. Brookdale has been calling my phone daily. (Take me off your phone list please) If you have multiple empty units, its due to your disrespectful sales team.
I called them to ask about the services they offer, but first I asked if they had staff who spoke Spanish since it was for my mother and she only speaks Spanish. The person who answered told me I would have to find someone to translate for her. So, in case she had an emergency, there would be no one to help her. I don't think this is the right place for my mom or for people who don't speak English. Sad but true

The staff seem very helpful.
Unfortunately my relative passed away. Place is dirty, food is mediocre. My Aunt had more visits from pest control. Staff turnover should tell you something when everyone is leaving. Short staffed is a understatment. Anyone can walk in on the weekends in the afternoons. We had an issue with the room rate in the beginning, was told one price from salesperson and received contract with totally different number. They will say anything to get you in..........beware
So HAPPY that my Mother in Law was able to spend the last three Months of her life at Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. The care that she received was top notch, and like none other. They cared for my Mother as if she were family. Even though her personality was difficult due to her disease progress, each care giver treated her with the utmost respect and love. I highly recommend this ALF
My mother spent a year and a half at Brookdale, and there were many issues right from day one. Her room was not even cleaned before we moved her in, and the cleaning issue continued the entire time. The food was absolutely awful, and the residents constantly had meetings about the food and how bad it was. Yet there was no improvement. On weekends, the aide staff was always short handed, and the residents suffered as a result. Many times, there was only one or two aides for the entire building, including memory care. There was almost never anyone at the front desk, and I believe the Executive Director position turned over at least three times while my mother was there. When we tried to reach anyone by phone for assistance, they never answered our calls. There were too many negatives to put in a review. Please avoid this place if you truly love your aging parents. This place needs total reformation, from management to aide staff.
She is diabetic and they medicated her with sugar every day. Telling her eat this candy bar so we can give you your insulin. There was a constant turnover in staff . The cook quit and after 3 months still did not have a cook. The office staff does not help with any issues. They blame everything on the patient. I will never recommend them to anyone. She has been out of there since June and they still send us bills from the main office and we have to fight to get them fixed and taken care of. I do think that we now finally have that issue resolved but we shouldn't have to fight for it for 5 months afterwards.
