My husband was accepted, we thought and had his room move in ready for the following day and we received a phone call the night before that the nurse said they could not accept him. From the very beginning we were honest that he had progressive super nuclear palsy. As it turned out we kept him at home and he died in [date removed] Therefore I would be very cautious to give a recommendation to this facility.
The admin staff worked very hard to learn about my resident's special needs and to train the aides. The admin staff were highly attentive and responsive. The daily activities were fairly limited, but the outings were imaginative and fun. There was very high aide turnover, which led to miscommunication and decreased quality of care. The food was consistently bland, overcooked, and portions were small. All understandable to some extent, but alternatives such as fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal should have been available. The small size of the facility (only 30-odd residents) was a huge plus
[name removed] the activities coordinator is fantastic. Unfortunately they could not provide consistent 24/7 nursing staff availability and that became a problem for us as mom entered her last days :-(

We were very dissatisfied with Brookdale their management team was very unprofessional corporate was unresponsive to phone calls and the man that recruited us for Brookdale named [name removed] was without a doubt the rudest person I've ever met!!!!! We would recommend any facility other than brookdale!!!!!!

Brookdale Senior Living embodies all the excellent we were looking for in their super clean, well managed facility to the superior professional. courteous staff. Our mother is content and well cared for.
It has been over a year since my loved one was here and they replaced most of the staff. Facility is very nice and accessible. Programs are great.
