4.7 · 3 reviewsBright Horizons of Ramblewood was nice and very homey. If you're looking for a facility that looks like your house, this is the place. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The inside was nice but needed a little updating. In general, it was very nice. It was like walking into somebody's home that has 6 bedrooms. They had 24-hour aides on shifting. They were very cautious with the Covid, they take your temperature right away before going in. The outside was nice too, it looked like the regular landscaping of a house.
Words cannot even begin to describe the love, patience and care that the professionals at Bright Horizons showed my father. My dad joined the BH family about 8 months ago after spending time in rehabilitation following surgery from a fall. He was 85 at the time. The aids were amazing as were the owners, two sisters that share a passion for caring for others. We considered several alternatives however the nurses at the hospital and with Hospice were very much in favor of this single family home turned into a long term care facility. Words cannot even begin to describe the love, patience and care that the professionals at Bright Horizons showed my father. My dad joined the BH family about 8 months ago after spending time in rehabilitation following surgery from a fall. He was 85 at the time. The aids were amazing as were the owners, two sisters that share a passion for caring for others. We considered several alternatives however the nurses at the hospital and with Hospice were very much in favor of this single family home turned into a long term care facility. The 2-5 patient ratio afforded my dad and the other patients very close attention to their every need. I visited often and someone was constantly cleaning. At face value you may not realize that this very modest home outperforms the much larger facilities who assign one aid to care for as many as 15 patients a day. I was very nervous at first, after all I had cared for my dad myself for 6 years and was reluctant to let anyone else take over. That fear subsided the first time I visited and found my dad dancing with an aid in the living room. The meals were exceptional and their attention to little details made his stay there very special. Sadly, we lost my dad today. We are comforted knowing that he is no longer suffering. The staff at Bright Horizons mad his final months comfortable. If you are considering bringing a loved one here for care know that they will treat them like one of their own. God bless you all! Love Tim
My visit to Bright Horizons of Ramblewood was fantastic. I didn't go into the facility, but I met with the owner on the porch. They have a music program that comes through when it's not COVID time. They had a kitchen, lots of sitting areas, and a porch. I could see things through the window, and it looked very nice. The staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
