Bay Center has wonderful caregivers who take the time and make the effort to make the people whom they care for feel comfortable, clean, well-fed, and pain free.
Yes my momma just got put in the last month and she called me crying saying that they are being mean to me! And saying that they won't let her out of her room.. And all her clothes are missing and that they put the wrong diaper on her... So very sad I have tried calling her phone and it's off.. I'm so worried about her.. And I can't find the number tithe nursing home to call and check on her.. The only one I found is the kitchen phone number 😧😢😡 why is that dose anyone know the number so I can call to check on my mom please..

Bay Center is a great facility, they are very prompt when it comes to providing medication and dressing wounds. They sum up really good care. The staff are friendly and approachable.
My grandmother had a stroke and the only place available at that moment was bay center. Horrible place, horrible experience, and staff. The place isn't clean, has a awful odor, my grandmother's meals were cold, very small portions, and looked disgusting. Fortunately for us after 2 weeks, we found her a better nursing home. So I don't recommend this nursing home.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK, AND A HORRIBLE PLACE FOR YOUR LOVE ONES. THE CONDITIONS AT THIS NURSING HOME ARE DEPLORABLE. THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES. THEY ARE IN RESIDENT ROOMS, DINING ROOM AREAS, EMPLOYEES BREAK ROOM, BATHROOMS, RESIDENTS SHOWER ROOMS, ETC. THE BUILDING HAS A HORRIBLE URINE SMELL BECAUSE RESIDENTS SIT ON WHEEL CHAIRS SOILED ALL DAY LONG. CNA'S AND NURSES ARE RUDE WITH RESIDENTS. THEY ARE ALWAYS CHANGING ADMINISTRATORS FOR SOME REASON. THE MEALS THEY SERVE TO THE ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE VERY POOR AND THE PORTIONS VERY SMALL. THIS MUST BE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORSE NURSING HOME IN BAY COUNTY. NURSES OVER MEDICATING RESIDENTS SO THEY CAN SLEEP FASTER. FOR THIS REASON A NUMBER OF FALLS HAPPENS. THATS WHY THERE'S ALWAYS UMBULANCES IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT EMPLOYMENT AT THIS PLACE, RUN AWAY! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PLACING YOUR LOVE ONES AT BAY CENTER, RUN AWAY ALSO. THERE'S A NUMBER OF NURSING HOMES IN PANAMA CITY BETTER THAN THIS PLACE.
My daughter loves this job so much! She comes home every day with a smile on her face talking about how friendly the staff and residents there. She has worked for many nursing homes and just so proud to be at this one!
My brother was here for about 2 weeks. I can't begin to describe the poor care he received. Cold meals in the room, pocket change missing, medications brought whenever they got around to it., left in soiled diapers for 24 hrs. Looked like most employees were interested only in putting in their time and to hell with most patients.PT was the best thing they had going. We have my brother in Washington County now and the difference I like night and day.
