The best endorsement came from a gentleman who came to check on his wife. He said "stop looking, this the place you want.". I had seen his wife earlier and she was dancing to Michael Jackson songs with a smile on her face.
My mother has been a resident at Barrington Terrace for over two years, first in Assisted Living and now in Memory Care. As her daughter and healthcare power of attorney, I live out of state, so communication and trust are extremely important to me. Throughout my mother's stay, I have found the staff to be caring, compassionate, and responsive. Moving a loved one into memory care is never easy, but the team has worked with me to support my mother through many changes in her health and cognition. They have been willing to answer questions, provide updates, and collaborate on her care. I especially appreciate the kindness shown by staff members who take the time to know residents as individuals. My mother has complex needs, and while no facility is perfect, I am grateful for the efforts the team makes every day to keep her safe, comfortable, and engaged. I cannot say enough great things regarding Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers. My mother in law has been a resident for approximately five months there. The staff has gone way above and beyond to help welcome her and settle her in. They all are compassionate and helpful in every department. Moe in activities has especially been wonderful to our mom in engaging her and supporting her through this transition. Thank you Moe! I highly recommend Barrington Terrace for anyone looking for a clean facility, wonderful staff, and a place where they treat your loved one like family.

After touring several ALFs for Dad, we found his new home at Barrington Terrace. We feel that BT of Ft Myers is a great fit for Dad's needs while being surrounded by people who truly care. The facility size and atmosphere, the administration and staff, the activities and community feel, the patient care and concerns have surpassed our expectations. Would like to say a special thank you to: Katie. My Dad was not easy to deal with and everyone was so welcoming and patient with him. Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers is fantastic! I have been in quite a few in Florida. By far this is the cleanest. The staff was extraordinarily helpful, and went out of their way to help me. You can tell the residents are cared for and feel the home-like environment the second you walk in the door.
Activities program is exceptional. They have a variety of options. Rose and Niguel in the dining room shows excellent service. The front desk personnel are caring, and helpful. Chris also goes above and beyond for anyone. I also love Emily, who is a fellow resident and helps everyone she meets.
We had a wonderful experience with Mindy and her team at Barrington Terrace. From the very beginning, they were attentive, compassionate, and truly committed to providing excellent care. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that both residents and families felt supported, informed, and comfortable. Mindy leads with professionalism and heart, and it shows in the culture of the entire team. Communication was clear and timely, and any concerns were addressed thoughtfully and promptly. It is evident that they genuinely care about the well-being and dignity of each resident. We are grateful for the level of care and dedication we experienced and would highly recommend Barrington Terrace to anyone seeking a supportive and well-managed community.
